Graham/Membou are no brainers if they fall to 12

Lots of smoke out there
Just read a nugget with Todd Mcshay send the bears could have a choice between Graham and Jeanty.
You both players got that close to 12 that could be interesting
Im going to try to mock jeanty to 12
1. Cam
2. Hunt
3. Abdul
4. Tet
5. Cambell
6. Membou
7. Warren
8. Jalon
9. Simmons?
10. Bears take ??
11. 49ers idk

Eberflus plays two 3T's in his nickel. He would be an impact player for the interior.

Membou could play RG to start and eventually take over for Steele at RT.
I know some are worried about his size, but I think you can get Graham some snaps inside at 1T as well. I think he has some position flex to be more than just the 3T. They could probably get away with some 3-4 looks with Graham/OSA as ends too.

Membou has never played LT just like Guyton in College, not saying he can't do it but something to think about.
He played RT every game this year to my knowledge…just let him stay there.

Both positions are very high value.

I can't disagree with that at all. Graham is technically blocked by OSA, but you can still get him on the field. Passing on him would be a huge mistake.

Membou is an interesting one. If they really want a pure Tackle there could be some truth to the Simmons rumor and they may preferer to go with him over Membou. Membou could absolutely plug right in at RG from day 1 though. Given the lack of upside guys likely to be at 12 this year I'm more than happy going OL round 1.
It would be a colossal mistake and I could see them doing that.

I don’t love OL in the first…but with Membou at least we know he can stick at OT so we’d be getting good value at a money position.
He's the only one of the tackles I like in 1. Simmons is too risky and Banks is moving to G. Campbell isn't going to be there. Booker is a G, Zabel is a G...

Seems like there is a good chance of this happening. I'm think their top WR is expected to go top 10 now, they may not value Golden enough at 12, or they expect him to be gone too, and are looking for a fallback plan at 12 if no trade materializes.

A lot of smoke out there the week of the draft, I see 2 prospects that have potential to fall out of the top 10 and would be "no brainer" selections for the Cowboys in Graham/Membou:

-Many are pointing to Jeanty to the Jaguars now which could affect where Graham ultimately land as many have had him going there for weeks.

-Hearing the Patriots want either of the two Georgia pass rushers, not an offensive lineman. This could push the offensive lineman down the board.

-T-Mac is starting to get top 10 buzz from teams like the Raiders, Panthers and Saints. Have heard Tyler Warren getting a lot of love in the same back end of the top 10 range.

Graham might be a 3T only now due to his size, but he has the best tape of any DT in the class. Balanced DT who fits the Cowboys needs up front like a glove.

Membou has only played Right Tackle but many feel he could have the versatility to also kick inside at Guard. With the Cowboys he would give them the versatility that they love to target.
Total yes on Graham.
Not as much Membou. Simmons the better player IF healthy and at the needed LT position.

I’d think it’s more likely that the Pats trade up one spot for Carter and Giants take Jeanty than drop a 4 on either a strong side DE at 4 or a WiLL LB with average instincts who can rush in a pinch!
Trade would give the Pats their biggest need with the best pass rusher in the draft and the Giants could cover a lot of weaknesses and make their offense instantly respectable and possibly legitimate for the first time in 5 or 6 seasons!

I don’t thine either Graham or Membou will make it past the gauntlet of Jacksonville, Raiders, Jets and Panthers and either one would be jumped on by the Bears and 49ers who would be counting their lucky stars if they did!

Membou translates to guard. If there was anything close to a consensus that he was a tackle he’d be an unquestioned top 5 pick!

I mean, he pretty much has been slotted to go in the top 10 this whole time.

Yeah!
It’s a weak draft at the top. The gurus doing the rankings are figuring teams will bite the bullet on taking a RT in the top 10, while having the luxury of an all pro guard in their back pocket if it doesn’t work out at tackle!

I agree it remains a long shot, but we see if every year and this class doesn’t have too many blue chip prospects
