Grammy Nominations

now i don't have a problem with beyonce, taylor swift & lady gaga get the number of nominations that they each got because i like all three of them & enjoy their music a great deal.

i do have a problem though with certain artists like david cook for example not getting nominated. he put out an album that has sold a little over a million copies & produced some hits that were, IMO, "grammy-worthy". there were some other artists out there who should've been nominated as well but weren't.

any thoughts on this? sorry about my mild ranting there.

In your opinion. If he was one of the biggest ******* than why is he constantly producing and featured on a lot of artists albums. The guy is talented and is in high demand.

So all of the issues people have w/ Kanye being the biggest A hole in the world, we are supposed to ignore that because he is just so darned talented?

Facts are facts...the guy is talented but his personal behavior leaves a lot to be desired by most in the industry.

lol, well I don't think his talent has anything to do with his being or not being a jerk, no need to ignore one or the other.

Some of the most talented artists in the industry are the biggest a holes in the world. My point that you seem to be ignoring is that it doesn't matter how big of an a hole Kanye is he is still in high demand and people want to work with him because they know he has a lot of talent. He still has a tremendous fanbase, he still gets very good reception wherever he goes. The bottom line is people in this industry don't care about you having an ego as long as you can help them sell, get your song on the radio and get tremendous feedback.
