You don't think that group has potential?

Only said potential...which is being consevative.

AJ Green, Sanu, Eifert, Gresham, etc?
Three choices: you are high, you've never watched them play, or you're just being a jerk. Choose one.

All I remember is seeing Pierre Garcon running wide open in our Secondary all game.

That is a nasty group:

AJ Green
Sanu
Eifert
Greshman

in the 12 personnel that they obviously want to run.

Question is can Dalton take advantage of it.
You know Denver, Dallas and ATL are throwing for a bazillion yards with those QBs in place. Dalton is a question mark still to me.

Without a doubt, that group has the potential to be amongst the elite. Green already is.

And their 2 TEs are talented too.

Right now, Julio/Roddy/Gonzales deserve to be right at the top. Bryant/Austin/Witten are right there, too. I'd probably put Atlanta a little ahead because their WR duo has less injury concerns.

I think Cincinnati has the horses to make the conversation in the near future. And I expect they will get there. But they need to do it for a season, first, before I put theirs right up with Dallas and Atlanta. But I agree; that group has a ton of potential.

Dalton has been solid. But yes, the jury is out on him being much more than that.
He walked into a nice situation with a freak like AJ Green at WR, a very good oline, and strong defense.

If Dalton pans out to be more than solid, Cinci struck gold with that draft.

A great WR in round 1.
A QB in round 2.

For their sake, I hope they did hit gold with Dalton. That would make for a fun AFC team to watch when the Cowboys aren't playing.

I agree.

And when I mentioned Cincy, it was regarding the potential to be real good as in the context of all of listing various receving groups, and not that they would be the very best.
They're a good ways down that list right now.

What proven depth? Manningham is gone. Hixon is gone. Obviously Steve Smith has been gone... even their project, Ramses Barden is no longer with the team.

I believe it's only Jernigan and Randle now behind Nicks and Cruz.
Yeah, the Giants have no depth anymore.

When the season starts:

AJ Green will be 25.
Mohamed Sanu will be 24.
Jermaine Gresham will be 25.
Tyler Eifert turns 23 in Sept.

Cinci fans have to be excited about the potential of that group... and the fact they could be around for a long time.

It won't take that long. T-Will is going to light it up this year.

Williams is a mid third round draft pick who lacks the route running skills he needs to be competitive. A couple years from now he might be ready, but I believe he is in competition with Beasley and Coale at this point for the number four slot.

Do you want to bet? The offense he was in doesn't ask them to run the whole route tree. It does not mean he lacks route running skills. Welker, Amendola, Beasley, and the two guys from Baylor last year all come from that system and all run good to great routes.

I have some cousins that are die-hard bengals fans...bless their souls.

You're right, and not just the offense, but the team in general is looking pretty strong.
That dline is really good.

Oh well, I digress.

Go Cowboys:star:

Yes they do, but like all teams, in the FA era you can't keep everybody, so they will lose a couple of folks.

Who they can then replace with draft picks/FA's, you know, like every team can do at every position every year.
