I picked one of these up because I am lazy. My buddy has one and he loves it.

$130

My local TSC had one in stock.

It's $177 at Amazon:

I recommend getting an A-MAZE-N Pellet smoker to go along with it, to get more smoke flavor.

I got a similar one for smaller smokes. They do work great and easier to maintain temp. It is perfect for ribs and sausage.

I'm doing a pork shoulder tomorrow for pulled pork. I have the day off, and it's forecast to be in the 60's, so why not?

Indeed, why not? I have done pulled pork in the electric, not too shabby.

I have a pellet smoking device similar to the AMAZE N pellet smoker, linked to above. I will take pics.

I have the Traeger Texas Pellet smoker...

Can't believe I waited so long to get one... had hickory smoked pizza last night... AMAZING...

Brined my turkey and smoked it for 4 hours using apple on Thanksgiving. My mom said it was the best turkey she's ever had... rest of the family loved it too...

Best thing is "set it and forget it"...

If you're lazy and still want a charcoal smoker, I bought a Pit Barrel Cooker and it's one of my favorite investments.

A little pricy at 280$ but setup and cleanup is easy and fast, temp stays constant, and I don't have to keep checking it. I use it all the time and everything's come out great. There have been a few times where I didn't even check it until it was done and I've never had any problems. Also very easy to add flavored wood which I do a lot.

Much, much more convenient than other smokers I've used. And it's not a complete PITA to move around if you decide to take it with you. It's the bomb.
