Wow, what a game. Considering that we've been used to blowing out the opponent at our house last year (except for Jets), I am really impressed that you were able to stick around, and take the game away at our house. Other teams would have been blown out from that first quarter pressure, but the 'boys didn't cave in and fought back.

Like I said in a post before the game, if this really is the team that the Tuna envisioned, and it certainly looks that way, I can see you guys having some winning seasons.

I am obviously disappointed that we lost, but considering how the game was played, I am certain that last year wasn't a fluke, and that we'll rebound from this.

Again, it was a great game to watch, and congratulations to you'll for the win. Since we won't face again this year (unless in SB), and probably won't meet again in near future either, I say goodbye to you all, and good luck to Cowboys for the reast of the season!

I think you're going to have a heck of a season. LT is simply the best player in the game right now. He never ceases to impress me. You're getting Gates back. That will only help.

Yep. My respect for the SD fans increases with every contact. We are used to the Skins throwing every excuse in the book at us. And we hear it all the time from them because they haven't been able to play with us.

SD still has a terrific team. You'll benefit a lot from getting Gates back into the mix. Your TE today wasn't bad, but he wasn't Gates.

It's also pretty obvious that Parcells and Marty both have essentially the same vision of what a football team is supposed to look and perform like. Play smart, physical football, run and stop the run, pass when you get your chance and take shots down the field. I know both teams made too many stupid mistakes this week, so the coaches won't be happy, but overall I think it's a good philosophy and if you follow it the other guy will usually make more mistakes than you and you'll win a lot more than you lose.

Yeah, he really whacked him. And I could see if they would make that a judgement call and only call a penalty if the guy really hits him, rather than calling it for any contact. Then if the ref decided that was excessive he could have simply called an unecessary roughness, just like they do when they feel the guy could have pulled up after a throw and hit the QB anyway. But I hate the way it is now, where they call it if there is any contact. I remember last year when we got called against the Skins and the DL (I think it was Wiley, the only time he got near a QB all year) hit the QBs shoulder pad and still got called.
