Great game today

Great effort, that was all about team giving it's all today. We lost, but I'm not disappointed one bit in our play. There's a few play calls I can complain about. And Roy Williams being Roy Williams, but that's been him since I can remember. I haven't seen that much effort all around from a Dallas team in a long, long, long time. The way we came out this year there wasn't a chance to make the playoffs. The rest of this season is about effort and evaluation to me. And the effort has been near 100% the last 3 games.

I like your sense of perspective. We had no business even being in this game today.

I'm assuming all the people who are complaining actually thought we we going to win, but they sure didn't post any such thing beforehand. ;)

The first 7 losses this year there was nothing to see about this team being good. They didn't play hard for 4 quarters. They didn't play smart. Now we still had areas where we didn't play smart or we had bad playcalling on both sides. But you can't say we didn't care about this game like you can in the other losses.

Yep. Good post.

I had some issues with game management and situation playcalling but Garrett did enough to win the game and the Cowboys are playing hard.

You gotta believe that we would be a 8-3 team with Romo and this type of effort.

Im liking Garrett the HC but Garrett the OC really makes me want to pull my hair out sometimes.

We might be 8-3 even with Kitna. The thing is they're playing more like a team for once instead of like a group of individuals who depend on the success of our superstars (Romo, Witten, Ratliff, Ware).

Yeah we are actually resilient.

Guys like Jessie Holley and Bryan McCann stepping up and making plays. Bouncing back from adversity. It's great to see. Very Refreshing.

Yeah, and it's stuff like that which is making me pine for the off-season. I hate to just throw away about 5-6 months of my life, but I'm already wanting it to be May already.

yeah, :lmao: at people complaining about Garrett taking a listless 1-7 team and turning it around to the point where, minus one unfortunate play, they had the defending SB champs beat. After being down 17, no less.

BTW, :lmao: at "mid-season coaching changes never work".

Garrett may turn out to be the guy everyone thought he was supposed to be in the beginning, as a head coach.

Yes, the Cowboys did fight hard today. However, I would be proud of this team just "making an effort" if this was 4-5 years ago. It's not. The core of this team has been together for 4+ years now, some of which even longer going back to when Parcells started laying the foundation. The fact that effort and lack of heart has been an issue not just this year but also in recent years will ultimately be the disappointment of disappointments when the story is told about this current generation of Cowboys.

I will be an unwavering Cowboys fan until the day they lower me into the ground, but it's becoming more clear with each passing season that the next Lombardi this franchise wins, if it ever does, will be with a completely different team, and that is a hard pill to swallow when you consider how much time and talent has been invested in the past 6 years.

Can't skip April.

April has become the new Superbowl for me. Since we never go to the Superbowl anymore :(.
