This is pretty much WORD for WORD - so this is Dez speak..I used my DVR to get it all..

Dez - Not even going to lie, Tony motivated me, he inspired me to get out there on the field. I know I had needed to play, I wasn't 100% but I was going to give my best and I feel like I did, even though I could done a lot better. Tony has been a warrior, a great leader to us and we are just all going to rally behind him cause hes leading us to the right direction.

Romo not a leader? :lmao2:

Dez is awesome too!

Good stuff.

Yeh but Romo still wears his cap backwards. He can't be a real leader.

Dez has a little Emmitt in him

It really was great to hear!

I was annoyed with him during the game but that play at the end made up for it and this interview put it over the top for me....

I see a different Romo this year. It's sounds so cliche', but it really looks like he's got a chip on his shoulder. I admired the way he got onto Costa, yelling at him. I like that fire.

:hammer: that was a great interview.Nothing but respect for Romo.

This is Jimmy Johnson-esque- 'Let your mind control your body, not the body controlling the mind'. Gotta be Garrett. The team has bought it and it shows every single week.

I wasn't for sure about going tonight but if a guy with a puncture lung and broken rib can get out there and play I can..Tony inspired me

I like it too. I think Kitna may have been rubbing off a bit on him too. Kitna loves to go postal on guys who mess up, lol.

And the great thing about this is the two of them teamed up for the defining play of the game. Just freaking awesome.

This guy just loves football, and loves his QB

For people who complain players are only in it for the money, Dez is one of the many who fly in the face of that cynicism.
