I know there's plenty to be negative about, but I was so proud of the D for 90% of that game and their goal line stand and keeping the team in the game despite all the turnovers, I just can't hate on them.

I'm not sure what happened with 7 minutes to go, I'm still in shock we let this get away. Did we go into prevent?

And Rook, I'm so proud of you, you almost brought a tear to my eye, you were outstanding. We need more players like you.

Sick to death right now, but I can't hate on a team that has to be heart broken right now. I said if they would come out and compete, I would be happy and they did. While they fell short and I want to puke, they certainly gave it a run.....I just hope this loss doesn't tear the team apart.

I'm absolutely sick right now and wish I could cry

I'm right there with ya bro. The D was great for 53 minutes. Choice was fantastic, he ran well, caught the ball well and was solid in pass protection.

they played scared at the end they should have just kept going after them the D let them off the hook when they stopped blitzing

Even though the Boyz lost I'm not going to go all crybaby on them like the majority here. They played the best they could...but lost. However, it's not over yet...just this game is over.

The D was great the entire game. They gave up two long plays all game. other than that, they were superb. We arent talking about chopped liver. The Steelers are a strong SB contender, you know.

Considering, our offense put our defense in tough spots all game long, they came out like champions. Pittsburgh only had one drive all game. If I am not mistaken, that drive only led to a FG.

I'm not blaming the D at all. Poor QB play and special teams killed us.

Choice played lights out. Way better than I expected.

:starspin I agree, Choice played lights out and he showed me more than I thought he would, WELL DONE Choice!! It's a shame the way we let this one slip away at the end of the game, a damn shame.

:starspin Yes, we seemed to be playing "not to lose" the game at the end and we let them off the hook...hmmmm.

I put this loss on coaching. Romo too, but coaching more than Romo.

The game is cold. You have Choice running well. So what if he's picking up on two to three yards, keep feeding him the ball and get to 3 and 2. Tell Tony Romo if he has to to run up the middle for the first down. But stay committed to the run.

But what do we do?

Even though Romo is having a poor day, we either continue to call pass plays or allow Romo to "check" down to throws.

The coaching staff just can't manage this team, as far as I'm concerned. This is not a Super Bowl team and won't be until we get a coaching staff that's in control of the players, and not the other way around.

Adam Jones was AWFUL at punt and kick returns. AWFUL. Take those duties away for good until he earns them back. He was solid on defense though.

Ding Ding Ding! :hammer:

I really didn't think we'd get that out of Choice. He played a very good game. We are in nice shape at RB for several years to come.

Props to Choice for proving me wrong!

If by "best they could" you mean letting a ball hit you on a punt return, over running the punt returner for no apparent reason, having 12 men on the field at another crucial third down, and not even attempting to move the ball when pittsburgh shanks a kickoff out of bounds" then im right there with ya. But to me, other than the defense this team played piss poor. and even the defense folded with the game one the line

Choice's 88 yards were the most by any runner vs. the Steelers this year. (so sez Babe Laufenberg) ...

Hell of a job in pass protection too. Just leveled a guy on one play. ...
