1st- Anthony Barr DE UCLA- Looking more and more likely that it's a possibility he could fall to 16. He's a bit of a risk because he's raw, but the potential is too much to pass up.

2nd- Jimmie Ward S NIU- The foot injury could push him down and he would be a great fit for our D. Can play FS or come down and cover the slot as well.

3rd- Trai Turner G LSU- Came out earlier than expected after only 1 year of starting, but has all the tools to be a great guard.

4th- Jerrick McKinnon RB Georgia Southern- Rumor is is that he's being looked at as a DB as well, but I see no need to move him from offense. Very good speed with a stocky build. Hard runner who could be used in a variety of ways.

5th- Walt Aikens CB Liberty- Big CB with a lot of potential. Kicked off of Illinois after his freshman year, hopefully his meeting went well and any worries are gone.

7th- Ken Bishop DT NIU- absolute beast against lesser competition. Almost looked unfair at times. Quick burst with a lot of power.

7th- IK Enemkpali DE La Tech- Stocky and powerful DE with a decent burst and great motor.

7th- Garrett Gilbert QB SMU- couldn't think of anyone else but it wouldn't be the worst pick in the world

What do you guys think? I really like a lot of the guys we've brought in so far and hopefully we can stick to drafting guys we are familiar with. Feel free to do your own. I'm sure I'm missing some good guys we've been in contact with.

Just from my perspective which is not worth a lot. I think it represents what we should expect from the draft. A few surprises here and there. I thought it was solid based upon who you selected.

BUT..... we aren't going through this draft without drafting a WR and a TE somewhere along the way. Book it

remember check down mcgee? this guy is worse. it would be the worst pick in the world. This guy isn't tom brady, he didn't sit behind a guy, he was the starter at texas and couldn't hack it and had fans actually wanting CASE MCCOY, then was unspectacular at smu against lesser competition. he has all the measurables with none of the ability.

Not a fan of his either.

I am interested to see what happens with both him and Savage. They are getting talked up so much by Gil Brandt it is not funny.

The thing about Gilbert is that he is represented by Leigh Steinberg and is his only client. That makes me believe the hype is more agent-driven than actually teams getting that excited by him.

Yeah I McKinnon was the only pick I wasn't crazy about. Another front 7 guy would have been ideal obviously. Have we been in contact with Reid yet?

Nice work. I agree with Visionary about Reid in place of McKinnon.

Really doubt Ward gets to 47 by the way. Like REALLY doubt.

Nice idea for a mock. I'd be pretty pleased with that, overall.

The Cowboys actually have 6 picks in the 7th round, not 3 as your draft indicates.
