st- Anthony Barr DE UCLA- Looking more and more likely that it's a possibility he could fall to 16. He's a bit of a risk because he's raw, but the potential is too much to pass up.
nd- Jimmie Ward S NIU- The foot injury could push him down and he would be a great fit for our D. Can play FS or come down and cover the slot as well.
rd- Trai Turner G LSU- Came out earlier than expected after only 1 year of starting, but has all the tools to be a great guard.
th- Jerrick McKinnon RB Georgia Southern- Rumor is is that he's being looked at as a DB as well, but I see no need to move him from offense. Very good speed with a stocky build. Hard runner who could be used in a variety of ways.
th- Walt Aikens CB Liberty- Big CB with a lot of potential. Kicked off of Illinois after his freshman year, hopefully his meeting went well and any worries are gone.
th- Ken Bishop DT NIU- absolute beast against lesser competition. Almost looked unfair at times. Quick burst with a lot of power.
th- IK Enemkpali DE La Tech- Stocky and powerful DE with a decent burst and great motor.
th- Garrett Gilbert QB SMU- couldn't think of anyone else but it wouldn't be the worst pick in the world
What do you guys think? I really like a lot of the guys we've brought in so far and hopefully we can stick to drafting guys we are familiar with. Feel free to do your own. I'm sure I'm missing some good guys we've been in contact with.
