• Cowboys 34, Eagles 14: Dallas has a lot of ways to beat you. First of all, Charles Barkley ... Chuck, Chuck, Chuck. Are you serious? On the NBC air, he said, "Donovan McNabb is the most underrated player in Eagles history.'' Wow. Some statement. We're going to part ways on this one, big fella. But onto the Cowboys. In eight quarters over the past two weekends, they suffocated the Philly offense, which managed two touchdowns in 24 possessions. And with the weight of the world on them because they hadn't won a playoff game in 13 years, Miles Austin said, "We didn't really feel it. When you're playing for each other, that's not a feeling you have. You feel like someone else will pick you up. That's the way this team feels right now.'' Dallas' defensive speed will be a tough match for Minnesota Sunday on the rug in the Metrodome.

Obviously the team is in a good place right now emotionally, and believing in themselves. Petey also had Bradie James as his defensive player of the week. Also gave props to Ogletree.

Flozell is a pretty good litmus test for the overall team. He's kinda like the canary in the mineshaft. When the team is clicking and hitting on all cylinders, Flozell plays like an All Pro. When the team is sloppy and out of whack, Flozell tailspins.

Flozell just absolutely pwned Trent Cole the last two games. Did anyone even hear Cole's name called? If he can do to Allen what he did to Cole, the Cowboys are in for a big day.

Only when Troy mentioned that Flozell had stonewalled him. That's always a good sign.

Bradie James' stat line...

6 tackles,
1 sack,
1 tackle-for-loss
2 quarterback hits
1 pass defensed
1 forced fumble
1 fumble recovery.

That's like the NFL's version of a Magic Johnson or Jason Kidd stat line.

That may have been his best game to date. Definitely pro bowl worthy type play imo.

So close to a INT on that one. Wade talked about how Bradie really fooled McNabb by faking the blitz on that one today.

If I remember correctly he did a good job against him in 05 when we played KC at home.

I take it back, it was Torin Tucker who did a good job that day against allen.

So I guess it means nothing!!!!

I love having a WR who has his head on straight. Looking around the league at some of these prima donnas gets to be too much. It is nice to see guys like Andre Johnson and Miles Austin who just go about their business and continue to work hard to help their team. You don’t have to act like a jerk to get noticed.

This team is full of good guys. My dad is even rooting for them this year. He quit in '89.

I think "Roshi" has a great point about Flo. Dude was ON the last 5 weeks really...but Allen is a beast and I don't think it'd be an insult to keep Cricket or John phillips in the backfield to help block him EARLY. As the game goes on then Flo can handle him one on one but that mother is something else off the edge....WAY better than Cole IMO who is small and overrated to boot...

Allen is really, really, really good at taking advantage of bad competition. He took advantage of Green Bay's makeshift offensive line with 4.5 sacks and 3 sacks in their two matchups. He had a 2 sack game against a broken down Orlando Pace, who will probably retire in the offseason. And he his 5 sacks in his other 13 games.

He's got a relentless motor and he plays a little faster on the turf in that dome, but I like Flozell's chances. And Minnesota really isn't a blitzing team, so if they can't get pressure with their front 4 they don't have a lot of exotic blitzing schemes in their back pocket they can go to to prevent Romo from picking apart that suspect secondary.

That is a very funny anology. Flozell of course would be the 400 lb. canary variety chirping in canary speak: "Flozzie want a pound of bird seed right ****** now"!

My litmus test anology for Flozell is that when things are rough he becomes a turnstile in a very busy lobby. I am still working on the when things are going smooth aspect....:laugh2:

Flozell has been on fire here lately. Most everyone on this board has some crow to eat this season about something (me included), a lot of them have some big crow to eat concerning flozell.

James made a nice play, but I think Anthony Spencer was the player of the game Sunday for the D.

f. Kevin Ogletree. Every time the little receiver for Dallas plays he does something good.
