Great Stat From Last Night Regarding the Offense

Just heard this from Bob Sturm.

We had 9 drives last night. All of them starting in our own territory. All 9 drives ended in Giants territory and the shortest drive we had yards wise was 33 yards. That is amazing. Even on some of our drives where we didn't look in sync, we were still moving the ball down field on this really good defense.

We stopped ourselves from blowing them out. Penalties and a few off throws from Dak. This could easily have been a 4 score game

True. But we were a little rusty to start last year as well. But some of that is due to the Giants defense. They invested most of their assets into that defense and it shows. Jenkins is a top 5 corner probably. Good DL. We earned all our yards and points last night. I thought it was going to be 20-17. So 19 points didn't surprise me.
