I am confused. Were you expecting snow?

Well, it snows up there when it's not snowing anywhere else in the world...

When I was 14 years old, my Dad drew TDY (travel duty) in upstate New York one summer, at what was then Camp Drum, but is now Fort Drum... back then, it was nothing more than a Reserves training camp... we all went up there for the summer, and by the time we left in late August so that me and my brother could go back to school, we'd already woke one morning to snow on the ground...

OK, it melted off before noon, but I remember thinking if this is what that place is like in freakin' August, I didn't want any part of it in February...

Yes.

The wind off the lake in Ralph Wilson stadium can destroy the passing and kicking game. If it was going to be at all inclement (rain/wind) it would benefit the Bills.

I am from Utica NY. I lived their until I was 25.

I know all about central ny weather. I cant tell you how many times I went trick or treating as a kid in snow flurries, How many times my high school baseball seasons first two or three games were played in the snow in april...

IN 9th, 10th and 11th grade I had what seemed like two days off a week from school for snow days all winter....We get it by the foot their, just like buffalo, not as bad as old forge or oswego, but really bad......

oh and watertown is where fort drum is and man they get lots of snow.....Just north of utica where I am from about 20 or 30 minutes north they get the same thing. A guy I used to work with lived on top of a hill in frankfurt ny and it was about this time of year and he would come rolling into the parking lot with snow on his roof......and my senior year in high school we played at watertown on a saturday afternoon the second week of april, it snowed like christmas....ever hit a baseball down on the handle of the bat in 30 degree snow flurries weather? Its the best...feels like your elbows are on fire...!

I have been to rich stadium about 14 or 15 times starting in 93. I know exactly what the elements are, it is still too early in the year for those elements.

My personal opinion is that mid november is the sloppiest. It isnt exactly snowing yet and you get drizzle that freezes, it is completely gray outside and if you sit in the upper level like we used to all the time it freezes on the aluminum benches....misearable. My friends and I used to go the week of thanksgiving all the time when the pats were home, then I wouldnt miss a cowboys game or we would go when Dallas would play a monday nighter or have the bye.

you are right though the wind their is miserable, that is why a strong armed quarterback is so important there. THe last game I went to there was in october of 2002 raiders-bills....It was hot and humid in mid october....I expect the same type of nice calm weather this monday.

Final game is in Washington -- late december in the slush belt is gross - other than that the only game with any chance of being really cold is NYG in early november.

The Giants game is pretty early in November, so I think we'll avoid the real cold weather and snow. Wind may be a slight factor however.

The Washington game, I'm hoping we'll be so far ahead and have everything locked up that we'll be playing our scrubs anyway.

Lots of great things come out of Canada ... Rush, Sarah MacLaughlin (sp?), Loreena McKennitt. Ok, that's about it.

Steve Nash. Love him or hate him, he's a great point guard.

We actually caught a break with our schedule this year. We have road games against Chicago and Buffalo, which have notoriously bad winter weather, but both were early in the season. We got New England at home, and road games in NY and Philly in early November. We then get five straight games at home or in a dome from mid Nov. to late Dec., concluding with road games in DC and NC (where cold weather shouldn't be an advantage to either team).
