ive seen other people talking about it and my brother n me started talking about it as well and yea we gotta gree that Eli pass to Tyree has to be the best ever in SB history. i mean its nearing the end with Giants having to score and then Eli somehow gets away from 3 defenders to avoid the sack, spins, and then throws deep to tyree and makes a incredible helmet catch with Harrison all over him. Gotta say best ever play in SB history... thoughts?

Yeah I got a thought, hoorah for the younger greater Manning. Yeah that's right I said greater, Peyton would have been sacked. Oh yeah I might agree on that assessment...

I don't know if that Manning to Tyree catch is the greatest,

But one of the damn near best improvised pass play and rediculous catches - EVER. In the crunch time. It's top 5

It very well could have been the greatest play in Super Bowl History. There are a few that come to mind.

Montana to Taylor was a very memorable play but really, not one play but 4 plays in that Super Bowl stand out to me. The goal line stand that the 49ers made against the Bengals with the ball on the 3 yard line and Cincy with a 1st down. That was something.

The Swann catches. Any of those could be considered as the best.

Marcus Allen against the Skinz.

To be honest, I'd have to say it was the Jones tackle on Kevin Dyson with 6 seconds left to play, stopping Dyson 1 yard short of the game winning TD. The drive leading up to that play, the fact that Jones was actually covering somebody else but peels back to make the ankle tackle on Dyson. That, to me, was the greatest play in Super Bowl history because that truely was do or die. If he doesn't make that tackle, the Titans win, the Rams lose. That's the play to me.
