The Packers have been winning w/o a running game. Now they get this Grant kid from the Giants for a 6th round future pick, and they are more balanced instantly.

They have become a much more dangerous team with one in-season move.

We will have to rush Favre a lot. It is imperative to win the LOS when we are on defense when we play them. Which I feel a lot better about w/ Tank Johnson looking the way he is already.

On defense they have a good secondary because they are very aggressive, but I think TO, Crayton, and Witten are good possession receivers...guys that can make and hold the catch...

The Cowboys match up well against them, IMHO.

Although I admit to being a fan of the Packers due to being a Wiscowsinite, I look at it like this...

...I want the Packers to win all but two games they play this year: 1. When they play the Cowboys on Nov. 29th, and 2. When the Cowboys play them in the NFC Championship.

I still have yellowed out newspaper clippings from when the Cowboys beat 'em in the NFC championship last time...

Coach Brad Childress revealed Monday that Adrian Peterson has a tear of the lateral collateral ligament in his knee. Peterson will not play in Week 11, meaning Chester Taylor will start against Oakland.
Childress said the tear is severe, rating it as a "2+ tear" on a 1-3 scale, with 3 being the worst. It appears Peterson has avoided season ending injury, but it's unclear how long he'll be out. "The PCL, ACL, meniscus, all the other structures are good in that knee," Childress added. "If it was a lineman they would be braced up and play, maybe. We’ll reserve judgment on what’s appropriate for that at the time. Everybody heals differently."

I don't know about that. A knee injury can happen to anybody at any time. I will say this thou, this is why I would not trade up to get McFadden. He is certainly talented but in the scope of things, we don't need that kind of back IMO. We need another back that can come in and contribute to MBIII as our featured back. To me, that's what we should be looking for and I think we can find that back in a later round. JMO.

Missed time in 05, missed time in 06, missing time in 07. Thats seems pretty injury prone to me.
