Which team are we routing for in this one for Dallas best interests?

Green Bay obviously we’d want to lose for the draft pick spot, but which is the team we want to win this game to benefit the Cowboys playoff hopes this year??

We need GB to lose. Detroit are what they are, and losing won't likely change that. They are just too good. But we need GB to lose. That tie we had might come into play later.

Hard to say. I think Detroit is weaker than GB and more likely to drop enough games for Dallas to leapfrog them, not to mention we play them. It would be nice for GB to drop enough games to miss the playoffs for draft purposes though.

Assuming we win (and if not why bother caring who wins the GB vs Det game) If Detroit loses then we have control over our destiny with them, because if they lose and then we beat them, we are then ahead of them

I'm routing for the Lions in a root.

1. The draft pick.
2. Im a Dan Campbell fan (he is a former cowboy and parcells guy after all).


Although if the lions lose today. And if the cowboys win

Then the cowboys beat the lions next week. Then the cowboys would be AHEAD of the lions for a wildcard spot. So the cowboys actually control their destiny in regards to the lions more than the packers. So it’s a tough call honestly.

A long time ago my father said whenever Detroit won on Thanksgiving, Dallas lost. I'm not sure if this actually pans out but it has made me root against Detroit ever since just in case.

Seeing we have GBs first rounder, there is 0 reason to root for anyone other than Detroit. Only way we're making playoffs is by winning our own division

The Cowboys are in a good spot for whoever wins or loses in this game. Detroit loses and were closer to passing them if we win the next 2 weeks.
If green bay loses it helps with the draft pick.
