Green Bay hadn't allowed 28+ points all year

Offense did its part, minus the turnovers. Yes, the play-calling should've been MUCH more balanced, especially late. Moore (assuming he's the culprit) still hasn't learned from the 4 straight wins with Cooper Rush.

But anyone blaming the offense more than the defense is an idiot. A 14-point lead in the 4th should've been safe. Very troubling that we got beaten up the way we did on that side of the ball.

Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon thoroughly punked our D, and that's what allowed Rodgers to get into a rhythym.

Who cares who’s to blame? When you lose, it’s EVERYONE’S FAULT. Offense obviously didn’t score enough points. Defense let up too many. Let’s not act like Dak didn’t throw two interceptions, whether it was on Ceedee, Schultz, or Dak, it does not matter. Let’s not act like they didn’t get opportunity after opportunity in the 4th to score. Let’s not act like they didn’t get the ball first in OT.

This of course does NOT relinquish the Defense from its issues cause there were PLENTY. Run defense remains putrid. Secondary looked the worst I’ve ever seen it since Nolan’s tenure here.

If Defense can’t step up, the offense must and Vice versa. If they fail to do so, the entire team fails, hence why this virus of a team lost. They don’t know how to play complimentary football. They also don’t know how to step up when one side of their team is down. Just atrocious all together. This team is a pure atrocity.

The danger of looking at the end result and saying, hey, good job. Yes, GB hadn't given up 28+.

But dig into the details. Like when GB mounted their comeback down 14 in the 4th Q, do you know what the offense did in that same quarter?

14 plays for 47 yards. That's TOTAL for the entire 4th Q. The offense failed when the team needed them most, just like the defense failed them. As the poster above said, in that GB game, the blame should be spread around.

They gave up 27 in 5 of their 10 games (not counting last night). Lets not act like that extra point to get to 28 was an outlier. They are middling in points allowed per game at 22. And have allowed 27+ points in 60% of their games.

Not throwing an interception in the endzone cost us 3 points that would have made overtime a moot point. (Whomever's fault that was).

Both sides of the ball played bad in one facet or another.

I didn't say the offense was perfect, I said they shouldn't be blamed MORE THAN the defense.

Not necessarily. With Rush, we would've run the ball MUCH more frequently than we did yesterday. That would've totally changed the game.

Green Bay has the great Aaron Rodgers... and still only passed 20 times with 39 rush attempts.

Wouldn't have pegged you as a moral victory type, Nav.

The defense forced a turnover at the 10. Any points there puts GB up against the wall early which would've been a huge help for the defense.

Special teams forced a turnover too.

4 out of 10 (including yesterday), not 5 out of 10.

Good point. When the Washington commanders beat the Packers, how many points did they hang on GB?

It's troubling that Wash beat the team, that beat us. Hopefully we don't become a losing-streak prescription for every horrible team.

It should spread around for sure but if you tell me we score 28 points and have a 14 point lead…that should’ve been enough with how bad the Packers were. I guess I sort of expect a low scoring affair in Lambeau in November. I honestly thought we would win 21 to 17 or something along those lines. I never expected to not get any pressure against an offensively challenged team like the Packers.

We were ahead 28-14 in the 4th despite the early turnovers. That should've been enough to win the game.

not scoring a single point in the 4th quarter and overtime with a combined 43 yards is also inexcusable.

We only scored 18 points per game doing that. Rush isn’t Roger’s.

The offense could have helped the defense more.. that's the point.
...but the defense could have helped the offense too....that would be a point. D got shredded and gashed all day and a Rookie WR took their lunch.
