Green Bay hadn't allowed 28+ points all year

The danger of looking at the end result and saying, hey, good job. Yes, GB hadn't given up 28+.

But dig into the details. Like when GB mounted their comeback down 14 in the 4th Q, do you know what the offense did in that same quarter?

14 plays for 47 yards. That's TOTAL for the entire 4th Q. The offense failed when the team needed them most, just like the defense failed them. As the poster above said, in that GB game, the blame should be spread around.
Giving up 14 points in the 4th is worse than stalling on a couple drives on offense.

It should spread around for sure but if you tell me we score 28 points and have a 14 point lead…that should’ve been enough with how bad the Packers were. I guess I sort of expect a low scoring affair in Lambeau in November. I honestly thought we would win 21 to 17 or something along those lines. I never expected to not get any pressure against an offensively challenged team like the Packers.

Great, but when you look at the flow of the game, you can't give the offense a pass when they basically only play for 3 quarters.

You want to blame the defense, and that's fine. They stunk. But they too only played three quarters before packing it in. They did their job for 3 quarters. Then imploded. Just like the offense.

I'm more disappointed in the defense. They come up small vs great qbs. Even week 1. Brady might very scored 19 but you get the feeling if the offense scored 21 Tampa would've scored 24. We are scared of great qbs. And no, Stafford isn't a great qb. I'm talking Mahomes, Allen, Brady, Rodgers.

Run the ball in the 4th and this is a non-issue. Coaching failed first and foremost.

Up 14 to start the 4th quarter you would have been right 195 times before for Dallas games, what a homecoming for MM, Jerry should give him a plaque to hang on his wall, the first HC in cowboys history to achieve such a result.

Anybody that says "offense did it's part". Isn't it the offense's job to OUTSCORE the other team, regardless of how well or poorly the defense does? The offense scored zero points in the 4th quarter and overtime. Failed to sustain drives in the 4th quarter.
