..and we need an offensive RG/RT. With Grant out for the year, they have a serious, serious need for another RB. Offer Barber for Josh Sitton and give Choice the reigns.

Oh boy. Here we go....

And here's why those Super Bowl predictions often end up being meaningless.

Packers running back Ryan Grant's "significant ankle injury" from Sunday was sufficiently significant to end his season.

Jay Glazer of FOX reports that Grant will be placed on injured reserve with severe ankle and leg injuries.

They'll trade for lynch if anyone.

Absolutely not. Barber and Jones should not be in trade negotiations.

As much as I like Choice and Jones, I still like Barber a lot as well. He's just not in the proper role running the proper plays, is all. I wouldn't trade him unless a really really good offer came around

He sure proved he's ready to take them Sunday night.

Don't they have oline issues themselves? They looked bad against the eagles. They are still trying to find out who should start so why would they trade any of them?

Why would they trade for Barber when the can pick up Choice from waivers?

I have heard that Dallas was dumb for signing Barber to a 7 year $45 million contract in 2008.

Is Green Bay dumb for signing Grant to a 4 year $30 million contract in 2008?

Absolutely

They have a guy named Brandon Jackson who is serviceable. Between him and Kuhn they should be alright.

Interesting idea. I would take a 1st or 2nd rounder for Choice. I think he would be perfect for their scheme.

I wouldn't trade within the conference, especially not to a contender.

Brandon Jackson is a decent RB and he has filled in for up to half a season for Grant in the past few years. Grant has always been known up here as a second-half kind of guy - He comes on late in the year. So having some depth behind him has always been a priority.

That said I wouldn't be surprised if they brought someone in.

A little part of me actually likes the idea of trading Barber or Choice to them (I'm behind Felix Jones) for some high-value picks or a player. But we all know that will never happen.

I'll keep our guys and role with what we have coming back.

Me either, especially to acquire a damn backup OL

That was a really bad idea by OP.
