Why hate the Packers? They truly are "America's Team" and pretty everybody in the entire world loves them. Basically the Cowboys are evil and the Packers are good. :)

The media's unabashed lovefest and homerism towards Brett Favre makes the Packers easy to hate, IMO.

To the same level as the Eagles? Of course not, but they are right behind the Niners in my book as second most despised non-divisonal opponent.

Anything Niner related gets under my skin and the Pack run the WCO and come from their coaching tree.

And I'm beyond sick of discussing who is America's Team with Packer backers.

NFL Films gave the Cowboys the title, not us fans.

And those fans can take any titles won before the Super Bowl started (the leagues didn't merge until SB3 or 4) and stick them where the sun never shines.

The wasn't the modern day NFL and the Cowboys weren't even founded until 1960.

The Pack won Super Bowls 1 and 2 and promptly dropped off the face of the earth (there were a few sightings) until Ron Wolf and Mike Holmgren woke a hallowed franchise from its 30 year slumber in the early 90s.

America's Team can't take a 30 year dirtnap.

I hate Green Bay.

"Its like pizza baby!"

Actually, the Green Bay Packers are the complete OPPOSITE of pizza.

And I love me some pizza.

I guess somebody needs to send a memo to George Steinbreiner that all of his 26 world championships for the Yankees don't count either. Since only the modern day ones are applicable.

They all count. All TWELVE world championships. Football did not start the year they started playing Super Bowls or when the Dallas Cowboys joined the league. It wasn't the Packers fault it took you guys 40 yrs to decide to play ball.

As far as a dirt nap for the Packers goes, How long has it been since YOUR Americas Team has won a playoff game? 12 yrs?? So using your analogy, YOUR Americas team can take 12 yrs (at least) off but not 23 yrs off as the Packers did. Again, I must have misssed the memo where 12 yrs is acceptable for laying an egg but not 23 yrs..

Why do the Packers fans wear their Fromunda Cheese on their heads during games? It's nasty and smelly. Stupid looking things.

A. baseball can be deported for all I can, it is no longer this nation's pastime.

B. You can count league titles, if desired. The modern game didn't begin until the AFL and NFL starting playing each other in the Super Bowl before finally merging a few years later.

Counting those prior titles would be like Dallas saying their 8 NFC crowns were just as good as a prehistoric NFL title.

c. There's a difference in a team vanishing for 3 decades and a team not winning a playoff game for a decade. To not win a playoff game means the team was in the playoffs, that is not a dirtnap.

And the Dallas Cowboys are a national headline whether they are 10-1 or 1-10.

Everybody has an opinion on this team.

We are both the most loved and hated team in sports.

In the modern day era, "The Lombardi" is what the NFL teams are playing for in regards to it's championship recognition. You can have your "World Championships", because these days they aren't worth squat. If it was the case, don't you know the Eagles fans would be so elated to claim a champion team....nuff said

Why start with the Super Bowl? Let's forget about the 70's and 80's as well, since that was 20 and 30 years ago.

I say we only look at titles won in the last 11 years.

Packers 1, Cowboys 0.

I can't care enough about the Packers to muster up hate for them. I can vaguely remember the Cowboys kicking their "Also-Ran" ***** all over the field season after season in the playoffs, until the 90's real dynasties died down and Favre finally got a shot against the Pats.

Other than that, who cares about Wisconsin? State might as well be Canada. I couldn't locate it on a map if my life depended on it - because I would rather die than know where some state that is obsessed with cows and dairy products is located.

That is one of the biggest myths in the NFL. Lambeau Field is NOT the best stadium to watch a game. For one thing, there are no seats, you are crammed onto a aluminum bleacher that has barely enough room to fit your average size a.s.s. The PA system is worse than most high school stadiums. There are no cheerleaders unless you count the local community college cows that they borrow for the game. The only thing Lambeau Field HAD going for it was the history and they pretty much gutted that when they did the remodel. Lambeau Field is a good stadium, not a great stadium by a longshot.

Why don't we just go with the teams head to head record at Texas Stadium?

Advantage, Dallas.

And did Green Bay even have to get past the bully on the block to get that third Super Bowl?

Nope.

Injuries sidelined the Boys and the mighty Packers defeated a second year expansion team to get to the big game and watch their return man lead them to victory instead of Brett Favre.

And congrats on snapping the NFC's winning streak the next season to Denver.

Brett hasn't been very big in big games.
