Interesting. Maybe, the ¨Team¨ is better without Bryant.
I think its Dak. This team is definitely not better without Dez, Dak's just giving the ball to the right people at the right time in his reads. Personally i think GB has a weaker front 7 than Cincy. We just rushed for 3 touchdowns against a team that hadnt allowed a rushing TD or 100 yard rusher all season. I personally think we go into GB and beat them on their field. The way our defense, especially our DBs have been playing as of late, is actually astounding. We took our foot off the gas in the 4th as expected when you are up by 28 points, but this defense stopped AJ Green, and a very dynamic Cincy offense, and shut them out until the 4th quarter. Im honestly not scared of anyone in the NFC right now except Minnesota.

Its insane that the offense looks this good without Romo and Dez but I cant explain why.

Its the running game. It has not been this good as a whole since the 90's. It was incredible with murray in 14 and imo murray was great in 13 also.

This running game is a different animal though and the offensive line is playing at its best, all these guys have a few years together now and it is showing. When teams can not stop the run as basic as it sounds they are toast. Cincinnati played with zero aggression yesterday, they got pushed around and dictated to from the first snap when dak escaped the pocket.

The crazy thing to me is we lost hanna and swaim is playing over escobar. They all just kind of fit perfectly with the running game. Our running game looks like the patriots passing game. Its just difficult to matchup and stop.

They are less than what they were, but I don't think we're greatly improved from that 2014 playoff team. We're pretty similar to what we were then.
Not really.

We are 2 years tougher and 2 players better in DAK and Zeke.

DeMarco never had the burst Zeke has.

you did see the 60 yd. Scud missile run he made yesterday?

And Romo can't run like DAK can.

Seismic changes this time.

1) We are greatly improved since our loss to them in the 2014 playoffs

I wouldn't go that far, we were a 12-4 team that had two MVP candidates on offense entering the 2014 playoffs. As well as Dak has played this season, he's still not up to the level Romo played that season. Romo and Murray had career years. I would tap the brakes just a little because we're only 5 games into this season. We're playing real well but we've had have little to no luck at Lambeau and we'll be facing Aaron Rodgers.

If we can't get a pass rush going it's going to be hard to stop Rodgers from having a big game. The Packers might not be the team they were 2 years ago at least at this point but they do lead the league in stopping the run which means Dak could have a lot put on his shoulders Sunday if we're not able to run the ball effectively.

Got a feeling he plays about 10 plays in the Redzone.

That maybe all we need.

No. Not this year. I'm tired of trotting out part-time players. Full-go or sit the bench and watch. We got other players who can make plays and are putting in the time on the practice field and in meetings.

It is certainly Prescott and Elliott and just as importantly the OL and a surprising Defense.. My post was meant to say that a team working together is far better than single Super Star. I like what I see happening with more players envolved with the Offense...Beasly..Williams..Butler..It expands the offense. I remember big star WO 's Like Owens...Randy Moss and others who were distractions and took a lot away from Team Unity. This Club is together..from Martins little Hip Thrust to the players helping each other up after hits.

I was thinking the same thing that Dez has some unfinished business at Lambeau. But, I doubt Dez plays until after the bye.

I hope not. There is no reason to play him. No reason to risk his season on this game when he can get two more weeks without stressing that knee.

During warmups yesterday dez had a big white knee wrap and was running all around playing catch with one of the assistant trainers and he was jumping and cutting. I bet he is 100% if they wait till the eagles game.

Just look at the play calling.

We haven't seen anything like it since they started letting Romo call plays at the line of scrimmage.

What we are seeing is the coach's game plan and play calling.

Not Romo's audibles.

Big difference.

And if Washington was a prelude, Dez will be moved around against GB if he suits up. And thats dangerous against their secondary. Especially if they sell out against the run.

With the infusion of youth on the d-line lately and the newfound energy being generated in the secondary, the transformation is becoming more obvious with each passing week. I'd say it's fairly mind-boggling how much a team can change so drastically with a QB and RB that are proving themselves worthy of bigger and better things.

With that being the case, playoff possibilities are actually becoming fairly reasonable and realistic to consider. It's hard to imagine some of us like myself are already having fanciful imaginations of what might come to be at season's end. (I dare not carry on further for fear of ridicule but I will.)

The Dallas offense, even minus Dez, is clicking with the best of them as the replacements, too, seemingly are improving by leaps and bounds. Anyone following this team is bound to wonder if, when and how this sudden transformation might improve. It's also natural to wonder if, when, and how this might conversely fizzle into something less exciting. In short, it seems fair to say that the weeks ahead appear ripe with the promise of much intrigue and excitement. It's been quite a ride -- here's hoping it continues. ;)

Rodgers will be the best QB we have been up against by far. Our defense will have to keep him in the pocket the best they can to eliminate big plays. Our offense will need to stay on the field too. It will be a good game.

Want some good news? Dak and Zeke are probably not aware of Lambeau's history, frozen tundra, Lombardi, etc, etc. It will be a mild temp of 65 and sunny.....our youngins ain't skeered! :D

You can even see it in the bounce in their step. Even on special teams when a teammate goes down on the carpet, there's 5 other teammates there to literally pick him up off the ground. It's apparently infectious how TEAM oriented they are becoming. Somewhere, they took all the "me" stats out of their game and made it more about the teams successes. Although the key players are young they seem to be understanding and thriving on their overall dependence on each other and loving it!!
I was mentioning this very point to some buddies. The comradeship and morale of this team is very high and it shows in their play. It's an incredidible development!

Not so sure about that Achilles Heel..

We had 4 sacks against a good Cincy OL.

We'll see.

It will be different from the last time when we got NO pressure on him.

Packers are the #1 pass blocking OL according to PFF and it seemed like Rodgers had an eternity to throw last against the Giants.

Lacy is averaging 5.5 yards per carry.

I would not put the Packers OL in the same category as the Bengals OL.

DeMarco ran for nearly 2,000 yards and was the NFL Offensive Player of the Year. Romo was in the running for NFL MVP.

I understand that fans are excited about Prescott and Elliott, but either some of you are very forgetful or purposely ignorant of the past.

Before the Bingles got shredded yesterday..

they were highly rated,too.

Stats are fine but it doesn't take into consideration a positions motivation.

And theres no way you tell me their OL is better than ours.

No way.

You will get no argument from me that the Cowboys are easily the best overall OL in the NFL.

Is the Cowboys OL #1 in the NFL in both run blocking and pass blocking? I'd say they are #1 in run blocking and Top 3-5 in pass blocking.
