Green Bay will be better for the Cowboys than the Giants

I cant in anyway see how the Packers are a better match-up for us. The Giants offense is so bad that it wouldn't take more than 20 points to beat them and probably not that many. Now, we could be in a shoot out and I don't know, who are you taking in a shoot out: RODGERS or a rookie?

Fortunately, it takes more than one player to win. Roger is a big play QB were as Dak runs an efficient offense. I will always take an efficient Offense that owns the clock, yardage, and the other teams defense. If you kill the big play you own the other teams offense. Your question was who do you take, I take the well oiled machine (Dallas Offense) over the one of a kind (Roger) that is going to be one dimensional. The better question is whose defense would you take? I like the Cowboys fast, variable, ball hawking defense. I will venture a scenario where the defense will be the dominate part of the Dallas team in a win over the Packers.:omg:

I don't know. The Giants defense had the Packers flustered in the first half and they still got blown out. I hope we can stop the big play. Packers defense is not particularly strong, but we can't afford to be off our game much--have to avoid penalties and turn overs. Dak is good at the later, rest of the O needs to step up on the former.

I don't see how anyone could've wanted to prefer facing the Packers over the Giants. I would've much rather faced a struggling Giants offense and their defense over having to most likely get into a shootout with Aaron Rodgers. This guy is playing out of his mind right now and he just gutted arguably the hottest defense in the NFL. As good as our defense has been playing this last month, I don't believe we're on the same level as the Giants. They need to get pressure on Rodgers and keep him in the pocket. If you give him time and allow him to roam around in the pocket, he's gonna kill you.

Having said all that, I do trust this offense to be able to move the ball consistently on Green Bay's defense. It's gonna be a shootout, probably something similar to the Steelers game. We just gotta avoid the mistakes and attempt to keep Rodgers off the field as much as possible.

My question to you is who beat us twice this year and who lose to us this year. Giants seemed to not have prepared for their game with Green Bay but they had the scheme to beat us. I would want Green Bay every day of the week and twice on Sunday!

It was too cold for the Giants. Greenbay is well condition for those frigid temps. When Green Bay comes to Dallas, it will be like playing in Hawaii for them. They will be feeling pretty good playing in such warm weather. Jerry Jones needs to turn the heat up in the stadium really high so its uncomfortable for them.

Trivia:

Who know the hottest sports game ever played at Dallas stadium ?

Yeah, it's about match-ups as much as it is about overall quality of the teams. The Giants defense just seemed like a bad matchup for the Cowboys offense (really, the ONLY bad matchup for their offense.) The Packers defense is much worse, especially in the secondary.

It is good for them. It was obvious before the game that gb was the better team. If Dallas wins they'd still have to play atl or sea and Pitt or ne. I would say both pitt an NE are better than gb.

They got blown out because they couldn't sustain any drives lasting longer than 2.5 minutes (in the second half)...or drives longer than 4 plays. Green Bay had 6 short fields and won TOP in the second half 22 to 6 min...before the final New York drive near the two minute warning. Before the final garbage time drive, the Giants had run only half the number of offensive plays that the Packers had run (38 to 17). Their offense completely collapsed and the defense was put in a horrible position the entire second half. Two turnovers, penalties and a 36% catch rate for Beckham certainly didn't help their cause. The story of their season simply continued...namely...bad offense.
