Greg Hardy Arrested

Not in this here thread. All the straight-liners are going on about "former Cowboy" and the article is from a Dallas/Ft.Worth outlet. Why wouldn't they say "former Cowboy?" I know Critical Thinking Thursday never quite caught on as a thing, but yikes! Lol.
Of course not in this thread.

No, he shoved an assistant coach during a heated moment on the sidelines. Go to the two minute mark of the video.

I added this to my post: EDIT: he slapped the clipboard out of another coaches hands... And what did Garrett do about it? Rather than an instant suspension Garrett spoke with Hardy about channeling his emotions better. Good old Garrett.

Apparently the video you posted is a separate incident?

Dude was a phenom on the field. Had ultra rare ability and just couldn't get out of his own way. Just speculating but might've had a personality disorder combined with CTE.

FWIW

CBS News reports former Dallas Cowboy...
Yahoo Sports former Panther
Sports Illustrated former Panthers and Cowboys
Fox former NFL
Your CBS source there is local to Texas (LINK).
CBS Sports National says "Former NFL Pro Bowler and UFC fighter" (LINK)

Aldon Smith played for four NFL teams: the San Francisco 49ers, Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, and Seattle Seahawks. He spent the most time with the 49ers (2011-2015).

But before we do the Jerry Jones is stupid and this is the Jerry Jones thing to do you might want to see all the other teams that also did this before and after the Cowboys so let's stop there it wasn't stupid,...

Don't give me that nonsense lots of these players go all around the league doing this guys like Josh Gordon and David Irvin and others you know we went from San Francisco and I'm pretty sure he went to Carolina first dallas was his next stop people tend to give these type of players multiple chances....

Was not dumb it was just looking for hope that this guy would turn his career around and he just kept wasting those chances....
It is possible for more than one NFL team to do something stupid.

Seeing as it's being reported by a Dallas news outlet, that's expected to be the first words. A national outlet reads, "Former NFL Pass Rusher." As would be expected but CowboysZone, ya know?

Right. It depends a lot on that. Most of us news outlets add local ties when we are localizing a story. Now, when the national news outlets do it, then it's because of the attention they get for mentioning the Cowboys.

Just as a glance, though, I see national outlets referring to him as former NFL player or former NFL Pro Bowler Greg Hardy.

Lol. I was just recalling how Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson had something extra for Hardy on every play. After the game Kelce called out the league for letting someone who beats women back in the league.

I hate the Eagles but I was proud of what those two did.

Is anyone shocked?

so?? Dude this is so unnecessary to talk about because it's not a shock this is his history it's not new and I really frankly don't care about it because it's no longer about football and he never really truly was a Dallas Cowboy I mean he stopped here for a cup of coffee and underwhelmed and now he's gone the man's got major problems mentally... He basically threw away which could have been one of the best careers ever by a defensive end the man was ahead of just about everybody he was better than Parsons and just threw it all away.. There's a point in his career where he was averaging a sack again every game it just threw it all away.....

So, I really don't care, and I have no sympathy for someone who just throws away what most of us will never get a chance to do and play NFL football and never have a chance to do by making multiple millions doing so...

I mean he just another one on the pile of purple drink man, Josh Gordon etc

I mean there are others that just continually throw away these opportunities and none of us are going to have empathy for someone like that....

Not really much else to discuss
