Cowboys just trying to save him from himself. Guy is a hard worker. But that hard work is probably infectious, so may be missed early on

Bei n g overly cautious cause first day of camp. Same with run dmc

Not the same by a longshot.

Hardy didn't miss most of the OTA stuff in addition to this.

And he doesn't have a history of being damaged goods.

Irrelevant. Coaches themselves even said if this were regular season mcfadden would be playing. Just no point in pushing it in pointless beginning of training camp. But please continue your mcfadden witch hunt,

What's "irrelevant" is you attempting to make a comparison. There is none.

I don't need to put forth much effort, 'Can't run' DMC does it for me!

The Cowboys could limit Hardy's work to make sure the injury doesn't worsen.

Garrett even went so far as to caution him to take it easy and not overwork too hard. That reveals a lot about Hardy's work ethic. Anytime a player has to be restrained by his coach, you know he's really a hard worker. He feels compelled to overdo it even though he's already hurt his rib cartilage. It's somewhat obsessive in nature.

Man I cannot wait for the season to start. You're gonna have so much egg on your face. Of course all I'll hear from you is " I'm glad I was wrong" :muttley:

What would you rather me say? I hope McFadden is terrible so I can be right?

I'm not rooting for the guy to fail. He's doing that just fine by himself.

I'm just not hung up on YouTube highlights from Arkansas.

Why can't you just let the guy show what he can do before you disregard him and kick him to the curb?

He just might surprise all of us. Do you really think the coaches that know about him would still have him on the team?

This might make a lot of posters mad at me (if they are not already)...but, Hardy is going to be one of my favorite free agent signings this season. QB's are going to feel the heat...hopefully starting with that punk, Brady!

I'd be fine with letting him. When exactly does that happen. It's been 'next week' since they signed him!

If he can't stay on the field now - running against air! - why would I expect that he'll be available when the team truly needs him?

The guy hasn't played football for 6 months and he still manages to be injured. The adage is simple but true. You can't help the club in the tub. And the most important ability is AVAILability.

I view this team as a championship contender. But a contender that needs to find some answers for a key departure at running back. Thus far, McFadden has brought only more questions.

McFadden's situation since he's arrived has been both frustrating and concerning.
