I sure hope they can sign him to a new deal. Elite pass rushers don't grow on trees. His attitude towards football is refreshing to hear as well.

He isn't going anywhere he is a MUST SIGN for Jerry. This guy is phenomenal you don't let guys like this just walk away.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and tell you "don't worry"

Hardy is a "cornerstone" piece. He will remain a cowboy.
Just imagine a defense that is more times than not "disruptive" to offensive lines/QB's.

The franchise can go a long way in Romo's twilight years. Elway-esque.

Look at what's happening in Dallas.
Franchise/blue chip quarterback? Check.
Franchise/blue chip receiver? Check.
Franchise/blue chip offensive line? Check.
Franchise/blue chip defensive line? Check.
Franchise/blue chip linebackers? Check.

All we need now is the franchise running back and the franchise corner/safety. And ... HEALTH and for players to stay out of trouble.

If we can just hold on until Romo gets back, we can make the playoffs and do damage.

If we somehow miss the playoffs, next year - barring injuries - this team is going to be one of those epic teams of the decade, IMO.

I just hope his game against NE was the rule and not the exception.

Agreed.... But think we have an adequate running game. We don't commit.

I really would have a hard time waiting until next year.
I know... I have no choice.

Hardy has a bigger mouth than Jerry. No self awareness with this cat.

What's funny about the two people you mentioned in your post ( Hardy and Jerry), they both can back it up. Jerry is an owner who loves his team, spends money on the team, and has grown the Cowboys into the most valued sports franchise in the world, and that's going to increase once the new facility is completed in Frisco.

Hardy is an all pro DE, who in first game after a 20 game layoff, sacked And hit Tom Brady so many times, Tom was cursing his O line.

With all the love for GH, i feel impaled to say that he still half a long way to prove himself as the player you guys is describing.
And the less he speak and the more he play the better. that should go for all players.

To me he proved himself in Carolina.....He has also proved himself by what his teammates and coaches have had to say about him. The final straw was after 20 game layoff to come in and do what he did to Tom Brady. I don't want robots on my team, I want dudes like Hardy with passion.

I'm just gonna say this I think Hardy is a lovable odd ball redneck from the country that has to adjust to having millions, fame and living with big city folk. (No rednecks were intended to be harmed with this message)

Game changer. 27 years old. No major injuries. Sign him yesterday. The discount from the suppressed market is gold.
