UP

Greg Hardy: He did not record a sack -- a first for him in a Cowboys uniform -- but he did come up with the first interception of his career. In the third quarter, he tipped a Russell Wilson pass to himself for the Cowboys’ first takeaway since a Week 2 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Hardy was credited with four tackles, a tackle for loss, a pass deflection and three quarterback hits on Russell Wilson.

David Irving: Picked up off the Kansas City practice squad Sept. 29, he blocked a 47-yard field goal attempt by Steven Hauschka in the third quarter. It was the Cowboys’ first blocked field goal since Sept. 15, 2013, when Orlando Scandrickblocked a kick against the Chiefs.

Tony Romo: No, he didn’t play, but do you need more evidence of just how important he is to the Cowboys’ success? Romo will return to practice this week, and he can only hope the Cowboys are still in it by the time he can play Nov. 22 against Miami.

DOWN

Matt Cassel: It wasn’t entirely his fault -- just as it wasn’t entirely Brandon Weeden’s fault when he was the starter -- but Cassel threw for just 97 yards on 13-of-25 passing. He did not have a completion longer than 15 yards and was unable to get the Cowboys into the end zone.

Cole Beasley: For the second straight week, he was held without a catch. He was targeted just once. It is the first time since Beasley’s rookie year that he has gone consecutive games without a catch.

Lucky Whitehead:

Not sure why whitehead is there. He missed timed a block while in motion. He laid the wood, but was a half a second early. I actually like what we may have in whitehead when romo is back.

And 49 of his passing yards went to McFadden. So he threw for a whopping 48 yards to our WR/TE corp.

He's probably there because he made 1 play and it was a negative and took a huge gain off the board. When the only time the crowd hears your name it's because you just cost the team 1st and goal at the 4, you are in the negative category.

The reason the play was successful was because of his block. If he didn't hit that block the play wouldn't have been what it was.

Not interested in seeing any more of this gimmick. They keep pretending he is Dwayne Harris and he's not even close.

Benching Butler made more more annoyed than it perhaps should have, but it gave me an idea about how little they were thinking of stretching this defence out
