What is this all about, really? Someone saying the Jones is a top ten QB, and better than Dak? Ok, who cares? Jones is not a top 10 QB, and I think most people not Giants fans can see this. Better than Dak, he's really not. I'm not even a Dak fan, I'd like to see him gone after two more years. But Jones?

I think the two QBs for all intents and purposes are similar in what they can do to alter the outcome of a game. I think Dak is better at it, but not by a whole hell of a lot.

Gettleman was a horrible GM, he made Jerry look good. Plus the 2 years with Judge, just a terrible football team top to bottom. To think Jones can't possibly improve with an influx of talent, a better Oline and much better coaching.. his first 3 years the team was garbage. Is Dak better.. sure. But he had benefits that didn't exist in NY. Will he better in the future? That is yet to be seen. The current Giants are making smarter decisions and improved play from the QB starts with those decisions. Can he be top 10? We'll see how it plays out.. The Giants needle is definitely moving in the opposite direction from where it was before the arrival of Daboll and the new GM so I don't really think it's an impossibility at this point the way people are talking on this thread. His first few years of development weren't very helpful, most drafted QBs would struggle in that situation.

Now Jerry is a good GM lol….valid points I just disagree that Dak had it great.

I dont belive that jones is a better QB .I believe he is a better runner and he stays healthier. He had a better year last. I want to see what dak gives us this year as the turnovers were not indicative of his past in terms of interceptions. he fixed the fumble issue he had in I think 21 maybe 18 as well. but i think he only lost 6 each year but depending where and when they take place it can be costly.daniel jones knows that well

It’s a close call between the two and Jones has been surrounded by garbage while Dak has been in about as optimal of an environment as you could ask for in comparison.

If you really watch the 2 I think Jones is closer to a guy who can carry a team than Dak is.

This post, from beginning to end is pretty much how I saw it as well. And yeah, we have to wait and see what happens once he has a legit team and coaching staff around him.

I don't believe you or I are going out on a limb here with this opinion. You'd think more people would have it.

Dak has lit it up in the past whenever he was given ample support. Whether it be run support or good WRs, he's made very few mistakes when supported. Jones is still somewhat unknown due to his situation. But I will agree that Dak isn't a difference maker. So the Cowboys have to support him.

It’s not a close call. How you can straight faced say that a guy that threw for 15 TDs in a season is an identical passer to a guy that threw 23 and almost 3000 yards in less games shows the extent of your knowledge of this sport. Brad Kaaya and Beathard will be better pros than mahomes. Remember?

Put Dak on the Giants team and see how he does. No QB looks good on a talentless team. Dak has looked just as bad at times with more talent around him.
The Giants ran the ball more with Saquon Barkley last year and took the ball out of Jones' hands. He was essentially 2016 Dak last year and getting credit for it while Dak was being bashed for being a bus driver.

Only die hard Giants fans think Daniel Jones is better than Dak.

Every year Dak stuffs up and we lose against poor teams in regular season, and playoffs, but his groupies continue to call him top 10. Everyone knows what's wrong with him. He can't even do fundamentals. But he's "top 10!" SMH......This year will be rinse and repeat.

If Dak could run I do think the hype surrounding him would be real.

He’s just lost nearly all of his athleticism and he sit in the pocket too long.

His arm talent isn’t good enough for him to be worth what he’s making.

I would gladly take literally anyone. Because I've seen enough of Dak to know he will never win anything for us or anybody else. If Cooper Rush can go 5-1 the last 2 years then literally anyone else can also. Rush or Dak are not difference makers.

Best case scenario is we suck and are embarrassed enough with Dak here on out that we are forced to move on.
We know dude, I agree with a lot of it, but please post something occasionally that is non Dak depressing.

That was Daks game, his primary attribute being able to be big and mobile.

When he lost that ability and now trying to find some comfort zone for him, that's what MM has to define is what does Dak actually do best with limited mobility.

You can still run, just I don't even believe that Dak has the awareness to choose when to run in appropriate opportunities.

Not bashing or trolling, but Dak "AWARENESS" should be a very obvious concern to those paying any attention.

Let's hope that MM can install a very custom unique offensive Scheme that maximizes Daks strengths, but in order to do this we must upgrade at TE. OL RB,
need a very strong running game to accomplish this.
