Obviously Watson's accusations are worse, but the rules on weed were different when Gregory was getting busted, and remember Gregory only slapped with long suspensions after being caught over and over and over again. He had slaps on the wrists before that.

Can’t make these comparisons. Different rules were in play. Substance abuse including marijuana which is still illegal in many states including Texas was a serious offense.

I'm looking at it this way....

Elliott getting six games was a clear overreaction and mistake.

I don't think the league should use a mistake as a standard, or use six games for a maybe assault as basis.

It sucks for us, and it ruined any shot we may have had in 2017.

If anything this makes me SMH at how good Elliott used to be. Sad, but thats the nature of that position.

Because Gregory was habitual. He tested positive during combine, In 2016 he then tested positive and got 4 games, 2017 came back and tested positive again and got 10 games, came back again and tested positive again, in 2019 and tested positive again and as suspended indefinitely

He only gets less if the NFL does not appeal which if they do they will get what they wanted in the first place because they are appealing to themselves. It is kind of a weird collectively bargained thing but it is what it is.

I don't know about Randy but Zeke got a raw deal.
They got the same amount of suspenion when Watson did a whole lot more than what Zeke was accused of.
