Seeing him light up camp it reminded me of the last time I was at training camp. He was walking along the fence as camp was coming to an end. He was walking with some girl and a Cowboys rep, I yelled out if he could sign my #94 jersey. The security told him no but he told the assistant to have me toss it to her anyway. I tossed it over and he asked if I wanted the front or the back signed since it was a #94 jersey, I told him the back. He then flipped the jersey over and his face just lit up when he saw it was a Gregory jersey and not a Ware. This dude is a genuinely nice person and as someone who's dealt with substance abuse and PTSD from gang violence I can honestly say I'm happy and proud of what he's becoming. I respect the way he's gone about his business so much. Cheers to #94 and may he continue this success story!

Gang violence?

New to me........link please.

Greg’s being out of the league was always a farce. The league finally got it right with the rules. Had the NBA had this rule basketball would have been over.
Completely agree. Especially when they pulled him out of the leauge before the Green Bay game(if I'm not mistaken)

Good post

I think we would have won that game if he played.
I honestly think so too. He's probably the fastest edge rusher we would've had in that game. Rodgers is t our running him! Especially with the push Irving was getting from the 3 tech SMH.

I don’t think I’ve ever listened to Gregory speak prior to that video that was posted here the other day. I was very impressed. I’m pulling hard for this guy. I had kind of given up on him, to be honest. But I think he’s in store for a big year.

As a recovering addict myself. Seeing this guy finally get it together and living his dream after fighting all of those demons is amazing to me.

Quite the story, I have my reservations but I'm pulling for him to stay out of trouble. Time will tell.

What does your PTSD from gang violence have to do with anything?

He was actually really clear what it had to do with something. He said that it makes him happy and proud for him. If it's still not clear, he's telling us that he identifies with the struggles of Gregory because of his own past and it makes him happy to see another man having some success.

If he signs a new deal, I’ll be all in and buy one also.

So if he didn't have PTSD he wouldn't be able to empathize with Gregory? That makes no sense. It doesn't take having PTSD or any history of misfortune to identify with the struggles of Gregory.

Settle down. It's just a thread congratulating a person who had to battle through **** to get his life back on track. Just read it and move on. Not everything has to be about you.
