Gregory update

I said Garrett was fed up with him, he certainly looked and sounded like he was at the opening of training camp when he wouldn't discuss anything about Gregory other than he didn't report. The media asked him numerous questions about Gregory and Ro and he didn't want to talk about either player. He couldn't possibly be pleased with a player the team gave a great opportunity to on draft day, only to have that player make the organization look bad with THREE FAILED drug tests before his second season.

Repeating the same mistake over and over isn't going to make any coach happy. By the way I never said I've never been wrong, I was wrong about the 2014 season. Just another one of your spins. When things aren't going your way you'll start twisting my comments. I deal with posters all the time who have that agenda because it's your only defense.

Now KJJ is a tone and body language expert. Nevermind what Garrett has explicitly said or declined to say.

That is also not what I recall. You must be confusing things with Hardy. Garrett repeatedly stated that RG was working through personal issues and that he could not comment on it. Given that RG was in rehab that shouldn't be surprising.

Have anymore story time? I enjoy fiction.

Garrett is all about saying the right things and handling things the right way and while Gregory is still a member of the team the organization has to support him. He's not going to say what he really thinks but tone and body language along with some common sense can tell you a lot. Would you not be fed up deep down inside if you invested a premium pick on a player everyone warned you about, who promised you they didn't have a drug issue and wouldn't give you any problems, then they turned around and got suspended not once, twice but THREE times before their second season? I'm not confusing anything with Hardy. Gregory dealing with drug issues that led to a 14 game suspension and possibly another year suspension isn't what Garrett and the organization bargained for when they drafted him. Jerry trying to see face, not wanting to give up on a second round pick is the only reason Gregory is still on the team.

Yay more story time. Garrett declined to answer. That is not the same thing.

You were just saying that Garrett was fed up with him. I do like how you can just change the narrative on the fly to him being nice because he is a team player. It must be very helpful in how you are right all the time.

I think Gregory should be paired up with Dez to get him on the right track. You know, to be all overly emotional, and self promoting. Perhaps they can go to Pet Smart and buy a couple of pet monkeys together and build some rapport. Dez can teach him how to skip out on treatment sessions, and to fail to show up in really big games and most importantly to talk to the press and reiterate that he is a team player and not a distraction.

With enough time Dez can ever tell Gregory how to score a big contractt and then fail to live up to that contract. I think we might really be on to something here!!!

Broaddus was told Randy is now at 255lbs:

I'm also reading that Marinelli "lights up" when he is asked about Randy. Remember, he's been working out all year and has gained 15-20lbs of muscle. I'm stoked about him returning to be honest. My knock on him was that he wasn't big enough to have the same impact he had in college. 255lbs is big enough, especially since he is stronger.

Ouch. I really hope Gregory turns out to be a better man than than Bryant.

Truthfully. I couldn't agree more. Its probably not the most popular view here...but it is very true. I would deal Bryant, in a heatbeat, to move up a little for a better shot at a hardcore passrusher.lol....
