No way in our case the NFL and Mara have an agenda and if me make it to the Super Bowl and Gregory has been playing very well, he isn't playing in the SuperBowl.

The number of drug test failures and arrests is not volatile for all of how the media sensationalizes cases. Nonetheless, they cannot organize and infrastructure to expedite cases faster than 9 months?

Anyone that has worked for an interstate/national corporation knows that is glacial even by corporate standards and NFL players commit crimes and such less than the national average.

The NFL just seems arbitrary. I would hate to work for them. It has to be intentional.

Rappoport works out of NY and obviously has a direct source in the NFL feeding him. The NFL acts from the "what I can get away with" as opposed to principle.

He had absolutely no clue where Gregory's game is at right now. He'll be going up against players that are in playoff form. They'll use him in pass rush situations, sending him after the QB seeing what he can do.

Yep, something like that is probably the case... have to dig-in to the language of the league/union contract in addition to knowing the particulars of the situation to understand exactly why it's playing out the way it's playing out.

Garrett is Gregory's near direct superior who works with him personally. You have to take what he says about Gregory with that in mind.

You don't want to load him up with expectations and ease him in. That does not mean that he cannot perform well. I am just glad he has a few games to work his way back into things before the playoffs.

Agreed, but then again, it's one of those "what did you expect him to say" things, right?... I mean, that's just classic Jason Garrett modus operandi (sp?).

This is actually kinda disappointing news to me. I was under the impression that his appeal wouldnt take place "well into the off-season".....which to me implies late Feb. or March at the earliest. Our first playoff game might not be until mid January, bet his appeal happens before then.......on the other hand if he doesnt show anything in our final two reg games then who cares.....
