Watching these two guys play makes me laugh at how fast perception in the NFL changes. Think either one of these guys makes the illustrious 100 best players of 2013 ? Kaepernick has trouble completing 50% of his passes and Griffin, well, he just has trouble period.

If we make the playoffs we might see kaep. Be careful what you wish for.

Its got little to do with perception, and alot more to do about level of play, honestly.

RGIII finished last year with over 100 passer rating and this year he's struggling, mainly because of the leg issues, imo.

Its still only his second season in the league though, on a team with very little offensive talent around him.

Give him time.. he's a very good QB.

Kaepernick is still pretty solid even with trash at the WR position. You get him a few weapons and watch out.

Griffin I've always maintained is overrated. Watching him in college, it was obvious that he's mentally weak.

wrong.

its got everything to do with "no one had tape on him and an offseason to figure him out last year"

and everything to do with "there is a ton of tape and everyone had an entire offseason to figure him out this year"

this is why most QB's can perform well their freshman season and the "sophomore slump" hits them hard.

Kaepernick is completing 56.7 percent of his passes this year.

Tom Brady is completing 59.8 percent of his passes this year.

Guess which one has the better passer rating?

I like Kap. He's a weapon on his own just running.

RG3 is not the same since his injury. Maybe next year for him. Something is not right.

Griffin has less as far as skilled receivers than Kaep does, imo.. and both will be good QB's in this league.

Local sports broadcasters in DC are calling RG3 out. Sonny J has said he can't read a defense. on the radio this morning, 980 am said the same.
Throw in his diva like attitude and his bad legs and you have a recipe for disaster.

I'm glad he is on the skins. They deserve each other.

lol

We'll see. I'd imagine that if he ever gets some decent receiving options around him, his ability to "read a defense" will improve drastically.

What do you call Boldin and Davis? They pretty much have an equivalent receiving core that Tony does.

Vernon Davis is great. Boldin on the other hand has a decent game here or there but he is way past his prime and typically has a hard time getting separation etc. Boldin has only gone over 94 yards TWICE this year. Romo has a much better receiving core, it's not even close.

Davis is solid, but Bolden is pretty old. Our WRs are far, far superior.

boldin is a solid possession WR who can get through the D...kinda like a witten but at the WR spot. Go check out his clutch catches for the ravens through the playoffs last year. Ive always liked boldin.

I agree that both will be good QB's but I think both teams are weak at the receiver position. Washington pretty much has Garcon and SF has Davis. Boldin is honestly not that good. Sure he played well against Washington last night but look at his stats on the year.

He would need them to be 12 feet tall the way he is overthrowing them right now. He has been absolutely horrible this year.
