Actually I think it was not only toughness, it was pride and the fact they came into this game with nothing to lose. The Bengals thought they could show up on time, throw their helmets out there, and win 35-10. Those two quick TD drives kind of shocked them and the defense took it from there.

Very gritty. The defense looked so tired out there in the 4th but they forced one last three and out with a minute to play. That series right there also won the game.

Like I said in another thread, this team needs to play their starters in the preseason.

With todays rules on practicing you don't get enough tackling and intensity. You won't need grit if you're ready to go right away instead of playing your way into it.
