I don't blame the guy. He's an undrafted Rookie that our management thought could start. I just miss Cricket and Phillips. umm not Wade, John.

To think, our management would risk our franchise QB by starting Gronk just solidifies the need for a new General Manager.

oh yeah.. I forgot.

(or at least I wish I could forget)

:bang2:

Yeah, remember when the John Phillips injury was supposedly not that big of a deal?

Does Anderson miss that block? :muttley:

Does anyone know why Wade STILL refuses to even speak of the OL? Does he think if he doesn't mention the problem it doesn't exist or something?

Didn't your momma teach you? If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all! :laugh2:

:laugh2: Maybe that's it.

I blame him. He missed his assignment.....why the hell shouldn't he be blamed for it?

As far as overreacting, and saying he needs to go, or that he sucks.....I think that's just dumb.

He's a rookie. He missed an assignment. That's going to happen.

He's shown enough to warrant his playing time, but to say he's not to blame....I think that's wrong. My guess is that he accepts the blame....did you see him on the sideline afterwards? The guy is torn up.

If Romo hadn't been hurt on the play, and had gotten up and brushed himself off, it's likely we wouldn't even be discussing Gronk considering all of the other things we have to whine about today.

You mean like he did the last time we lost Romo to injury? ;)

Wasn't Anderson a rookie then just like Gronk now?

Romo is gone because of a rookie mistake.

Yep. Twice now.

Still like Gronk better than Anderson though.

I find myself wanting to blame Garrett for this.

When you play 17 or 18 guys (or whatever number Garrett has played), you need each of those guys to play well.

IMO you're better off not trying to do so much with so many different players.

Keep things more basic and through superior execution, make them stop what they know is coming.

When you give snaps to the guys who are not your best players, you invite mistakes, miscues and occasional disasters.

Yes of course he's at fault for not seeing the blitz coming and making the block. I'm just saying he's extremely in-experienced and cutting Deon after the injury to Philips was ill advised considering what was at stake ie Romo's health. I know 20-20 hindsight is real easy now.

Thou shall not speak ill of jerry's pet offensive line coach.
