If he is supposedly jogging, not running. It does not sound like he could play. Not after 5 months, if it is a 5 month recovery.
That time does not mean fully healed

And as you said you felt like you could do what you needed to do after 6 months. But your doctor said 9 months. Sure Dak probably feels he could play, but the doctors probably told him 9 months as well.

I too had some major surgery on both achilles and other tendons and ligaments in my feet and ankles. After all my rehab, I felt I could do things I normally could, but knew I really could not. And did not, under doctors orders.

So why is being untrusting being a pessimist? True, we never see Dak or other starters until game 1. Then they always have some sort of injury, even if they are our 3 or 4 weeks.

Now logic tells me that the player said something in its he has no reason to lie because the seasons five months away he has plenty more time to heal and rehab and yet he made the statement because I believe he believes he's healthy enough to play but it's a good thing we don't need him for four more months...

You all know what I think of Dak. No reason to go over that again. However I find myself intrigued by Tommy Mellott out of Montana St. I would jump on him as UDFA for sure. Supposedly Sean McVay likes him FWIW so maybe there is something there.

IF This kid is all that, and social media's come a long way, so no secret surprises coming, since Tony Romo and some other guys get lost it as undrafted free agents..

why would you allow him to become a free agent you can get him in the 7th round? why would you not pick a guy who you think could have something and wait for him to be able to pick wherever he wants to go? you pick him up in the 6th round or the 7th round..​

those are typically throw away draft slots, so you go get a guy like that I'm pretty sure that's what San Francisco had in mind for Brock Purdy, they didn't think he was going to be their starter in no way shape or form was at a pick that they knew he was going to become something.. however, if they have a good feeling about a guy, you do not let him become an undrafted free agent, you go get him with one of your draft picks...​

The kid from New England Milton , is going to surprise a lot of people . we need a potential starter, not a back up game manager.

No way shape or form do you move up in the second round to get a quarterback when our quarterback's gonna be here two to 4 years and I'm not saying we shouldn't look at a quarterback because if Sanders somehow falls us to us at 12 then you probably should pick him.

It costs too much to move up you either stand pat and grab a guy or you trade down therefore I'm saying no to getting a guy like dart in the second round if you have to move up and get him if they feel that good about him then if he falls to you in the 2nd round then go get him but we really need the first three picks to be starters day one starters no red flags no injury concerns no developmental players no future quarterbacks we should just go get our guys and actually trading down makes more sense...

I see why you would suggest it but I'm saying absolutely not but that's why I think people think I'm crazy if Sanders falls to you at 12 he's supposed to go in the top ten or he's a first round pick why would you not pick him you don't have to expend any other resources and then you would have to then be very creative the rest of the way trading down a lot maneuvering to make sure you get your running back wide receiver defensive tackle etcetera etcetera...

If Sanders falls to us at 12, that is our best chance to trade back and get good value for that pick. That is our best case scenario, he falls and we can trade back several spots and get a 3rd and 4th round pick out of it, draft the best RB late in the First and move on.

he means running more and running smoother than he has since he's broke his ankle, like he's wanting to get back to being more mobile, not since the hamstring, but Like be more mobile has nothing to do with the injury, he's doing this getting more lean and trying to be in the best shape of his career so he can be more mobile I don't even know how you miss that cause you're trying to find things that aren't there you're reading into things.. I mean did you miss the part when he's talked about Jerry's asked him not to run as much not to risk it if he doesn't have to he's been hesitant to run even though that game that he got hurt in he actually was running a lot more than usual but he's just talking about trying to get his mind set back to taking off and running more take the injuries out of it he wants to run more.. Of course he's not going to be Lamar Jackson or Jayden Daniels but he wants to get back to doing a little bit more of it when he can and not hesitate so he's getting his body ready..

If Sanders falls to us at 12, that is our best chance to trade back and get good value for that pick. That is our best case scenario, he falls and we can trade back several spots and get a 3rd and 4th round pick out of it, draft the best RB late in the First and move on.

Look I heard all sides of this I'm just giving my opinion and yes trading down in some other post we already having this discussion,

but I'm telling you if I was AGM this is the place where you take a chance and a guy falls to you, you don't have to trade up, you don't have to trade back, and he could be a future starting quarterback you should take him..

That's my opinion and I'm sticking with it I don't think he'll be there but if he is there they should take some serious thought about taking the guy you guys always complain they don't pick quarterbacks in the first round anymore and I don't care what your opinion is of the guy a lot of people think he's going to be a very good quarterback no one's talking Hall of Fame or Pro Bowl but right now at worse he sits behind Prescott for two to three years and gets groomed a lot like Jordan Love and Aaron Rodgers and Tony Romo..

they could have an opportunity here to groom their future quarterback, who is a real prospect, I don't care again what your opinion is of him and I know we don't need a quarterback but people talking about trading up to get Jackson dart in the second round,

I call BS. In another article it said, Dak says that, but most likely he could not.
I even seen another article, claiming he had a slight set back, and the tear is still not completely healed being attached to the bone. I need to try to find that one.

Walker is implying there may be a battle for QB 2, between Grier and Milton. I say it is not close. Grier was not as good as Rush, who many on here over rated. And he certainly was not beat the Trey Lance.
They need to bring in another QB for more competition.
