I would have to pass !!!

Read the article and to be honest just the way he speaks just doesn't seem he would be a great motivator and get his point across to a Team that will be in need like the Cowboys. He just doesn't impress me at all !!!

I would have to pass on Gruden as Head Coach material (He would be well below other candidates like Shanahan, Holmgren and Cowher)

I don't know about HC material or not but I don't think I'd be basing it on what some yahoo blog writer posts. I don't agree with just about anything in his entire article.

I personally think there is some truth in the article. He has been terrible on Monday night Football. He just doesn't know how to speak and his statements come out sounding kind of stupid.

Let me write the next 3 threads:

Shanahan as Head Coach?
Holmgren as Head Coach?
Cowher as Head Coach?

Can we move on...

+1 We need Jimmy back !

There are 12 more games to go in THIS season...why are people worried about next year? I don't get it.

Because no matter the out come of the season Wade and Jason need to go?

Because this season looks pretty bleak thus far...

I got an idea lets stop hoping for and hiring retread coaches and get some young hungry coach in big D. Everyone keeps hollering for Cowher, Shanahan, or Holmgren yes they are and were great coaches but I'm sick of the stop gap coaches we hire in Dallas. Is there no one else ashamed of the number of HCs we have gone through in our organization? yes I know sometimes thats the business of the NFL to hire and fire coaches in short time but if you look at most the teams that have been consistently good its because of coaching stability. Cowher, Shanahan, and Holmgren wouldnt be with Dallas for the long term if they were hired. I want new blood and young coach with something to prove that can mark his stamp on the team and provide an identity (something us fans have been screaming that lacks on the team) to the team.

Because they are premature evaluators.

Don't worry. As the season goes on their keyboards will be too sticky to work.

A young coach doesn't stand a chance with this team as long as Jerry is the owner. Players would go around him more than they do Wade. An older established coach like Cowher/Shanahan/Holmgren stands a much better chance of whipping these ****** players into shape then any young coach would.

If we miss out on the playoffs I hope he's the next coach. Won a Super Bowl by beating the team he built up in said Super Bowl. He's obviously a good coach. He's also young so he could conceivably stay around for a long time.

Which is what is so impressive. He was able to build a Super Bowl contender in Oakland. Anyone who can make an Al Davis-owned team competitive must be a good coach.
