This is where Shotty needs to keep this team grounded. The Rams ate the cheese these last couple months and paid the price tonight. They got cocky. Jimmy was great at keeping his teams grounded. This Cowboys team needs to tune out the noise and not take the bait.

It's a very long season. Losing week 1 isn't a death sentence. Also, the Rams played a very weird week in Australia and took probably the wrong approach to travel. Rams losing one game doesn't mean they won't be legit this year.

I really don’t mind the hype, I just hope those hyping the team stay consistent with expectations.

Currently I view this team as a lower end playoff team. Any sort of deep playoff run and I’ll tip my cap to the job these guys have done. Those putting Super Bowl expectations on this group should expect heads to roll with a 1st round exit or playoff miss altogether.

Honestly, I see 9-8 and that’s like a really small minority around here. We still have some serious talent deficits at key positions that coaching simply can’t cover.
