I am intrigued with Damontre Moore, whether or not he declares is another thing.. In the first round do we go Oline since they drafted Crawford-Wilber-extended Hatcher & Lissemore , or do you go get a fast explosive guy that can rush the passer and stop the run from the DE position? or OLB to replace Spencer if he isn't extended

Depends on who is there when we pick. I would also be ok with a safety and DT.

Moore is the best player on that defense.

Best player available that fills a need at whatever pick we are at.

Cowboys Preference (IMO):
I think that the Cowboys preference would be to get a pass rusher. Either a 3-4 OLB or a 3-4 DE that can rush the passer.

If I had the choice to add a potential D. Ware or a potential JJ Watt to this defense, I would have to go with the Watt type player at this point.

My reasoning is that pass rushing is the 3rd priority for the SOLB in Rob Ryan's defense.

Either way, I think they're going to have to keep Spencer. It would be difficult for a rookie to take over Spencer's SOLB position. Mentally, the SOLB position in RR's defense is very difficult.

I think they can Franchise Spencer again or sign him to a new contract; although, I don't love the idea of giving a big contract to a 29 year old player.

My preference:
Offensive Line or Pass Rusher

What are the odds there is another JJ Watt? The guy is a BEAST playing a DE in the 3-4.

I agree with 2 out of three, safety is not going to be a first rd pick, an OLB should be in the mix for RD 1, and the OLine should be fine tuned to get a tackle not a guard, Free is backup material after watching him against the Giants.

About the same as getting another Ware, near zero.

I was just using Watt and Ware as examples of 2 different types of players.
