We all have our opinions. We all think we are right. Some blame the media. Some blame Carpenter, Witten, Romo, Jason Garrett ect.

But lets look at a simple fact about TO.

When he was cut by the eagles it was reported that Jerry Jones and Dallas were probably the only team willing to take a chance on him. And our superbowl head coach Parcells wanted no part of him.

Now here he stands cut by Dallas and all but the most desperate losing franchise (oakland possibly) are considered to be willing to take a chance on him.

That says so much about TO.

Everyone knows how talented he is. Yet which contender will hire him?

Many people here on this board would rather have cut Roy Williams 11 that TO.

If roy williams 11 was cut how many teams would be interested in bringing him in? A fair guess would be all of them.

I am not on the inside. But i tend to trust the people who are. Not the guys that party with him. But the men in the league who's jobs are to build winning "Teams". If they want no part of him then why should we think we know more than they do. Especially when we have never even been closer to a nfl team than our couches or seats in the stadium.

Two things.

Please prove the bolded portion. No speculation on your part. But substantial proof with a quote and a link to the quote from Parcells stating he did not want "The Player."

Second - all the speculation in the world doesn't answer one question I have.

Why hasn't Romo come to the defense of T.O.?

Parcells wanted TO so much that he never spoke to the man. He refused to even called him by his name. Has parcells ever came out and said "i dont want him" to the media? I doubt it. However only a fool would not judge a man by his actions. And his actions are pretty clear. If you want a player on your team you do not disrespect him to the media the way big bill did.
But i guess you are one of those people that cant believe anything without a link. haha.

And please provide proof that Romo hasnt come to the defense of TO. Not speculation on your part but substantial proof with a quote and a link.

You cant handle the truth.

He will have 2-3 teams to choose from. Oakland wont be one of them.

Premature speculation. Its early.

Well if he hasn't it's probably because Romo's glad he's gone, just a hunch. I know I would be if I had to listen to him ***** on the sidelines every week we lost and who knows how much in practice!

When he was biotchn on the sidelines we were either losing or sucking real real hard.

And he knows the coaching staff and Jerry meddling makes this organization a joke, a laughing stock of the NFL.

If indeed that is his opinion I agree with him. What I think is wrong is him going off like that and not having respect for his teammates or coaches.

I disagree with my bosses decisions frequently but I rarely tell him and if I do it's as respectful as possible with reasons to back it up and with solutions also. That really makes a huge difference and keeps everything smooth, atleast in my world it does.

Look at T.O. now, he kept acting like a spoiled child while with 3 teams and now each team has moved him to unemployment status.

... have you MET Bill Parcells? This is the same guy that called Terry Glenn a "she" before he signed him to the Cowboys years later.

Why do you think?

I have no inside info. But I also saw the smile leave the face of Romo last year as it became a grind for the team.

I can only surmise, but I suspect he hasn't come running to the defense of T.O. because Jerry had a chat with him and asked his opinion.

But I think the silence from Romo is deafening.

Jerry did an interview the other week talking about how T.O wasn't coming here without Parcells' approval. Parcells, according to Jerry, wanted T.O. Parcells also approaches people and things in manners a lot differently than most coaches and peopl. In saying so, and this is my personal belief, Parcells not dealing directly with T.O was a message to T.O from day 1 that you are specifically here to produce and execute only, all that other malarky with you other coaches and experiences will not exist with me.

That is the only relationship I want with you and that is regarding performing for my football team. You won't have to hear from me, the coaching I have put in place for your position and offense is there to work with you, and if you do hear from me it won't be for good reasons. I think that was the logic behind Parcell's approach with T.O. I remember Parcells giving T.O this stare on the sideline during a game when T.O dropped a critical pass.

Parcells didn't leave because of T.O. Parcells left because coaching wasn't his thing anymore and he was more interested in structuring teams and evaluating talent as opposed to developing it hands on, strategizing and managing it to win on game day. He really didn't have the energy he felt it would require to be successful in that capacity anymore. You're past 60 and yelling and chasing after guys in the early 20's to mid 30's isn't an easy chore.
