Guess what, on NFL Network, showing Oilers Steelers afc championship & wade phillips

hey, fans, nfl network is showing the steelers oilers championship, with the oiler wr making the catch for a TD, but refs didnt give it to them.

First good ole wade says, d...... it,
next scene after refs huddle and dont give touchdown, good ole wade throws his microphone he is wearing on his head, and says a few more words.

Now, you know good ole wade, says he doesnt get angry or show emotion, etc, at the players etc, but right there he did. So, why cant he get angry at some of the way these dallas cowboys players play now?

just thought i would give you what happened, and how wade reacted.

dont forget at 1;30 will be nfl hall of fame, and hopefully bob hayes will be inducted. the main person against bob hayes is peter king, best i remember.

and dont forget at 2 pm will be the tx vs the nation of seniors playing in a bowl game, it will be only on cbs college sports on direct tv, etc.

this will be your last game till the super bowl tomorrow, till the draft, besides the pro bowl game in february. so enjoy till draft time, we might draft some players from this game too.


2 of them i remember we looked at in the senior bowl too unger the center and a linebacker from cinc.

That WR was Mike Renfro and had they had replay back than it would have been a TD.

yes, wade is a defensive coordinator up in the booths,

remember wade worked as a coordinator underneath his dad Bum Phillips

well i think the reason why he got coverage, he was Bum Phillips son, and the game was in Houston,

they also showed Bum Phillips saying a few things too when the refs didnt award the touchdown to renfro

The Game was in Pittsburg. If they had Instant Replay the Oilers would have been given a TD and they would have been within 3 points if i remember correctly. Pissed me off when that call was made, Oilers should have went that year vs the Rams!
I dont remember if Wade was DC, but i know he was LB coach for Bum. He may have been DC in New Orleans after Bum got fired in Houston.

The thing I remember most was after Houston lost to the Steelers in back to back AFC Championship games in 1978 & 1979 Bum Phillips cracked me up.

"Last year we knocked on the door (34-5). This year we beat on the door (27-13). Next year we're going to kick the son of a ***** in."

Didn't quite kick it in though as they lost in the Wildcard round to the Raiders.

Bum was an original.
