We did not run into them. We ran around them like in outside of the tackles. This execution stuff is just nonsense.
The playcalling was much different than the 3 losses. Its the reason why we won today.
1. We ran between the tackles as or more often than we ran outside the tackles.
2. The play calling was no different at all. We were able to develop the run game because we weren't behind by a large margin early,
I don't understand when people lose all sense of objectivity.
We open the season with 3 wins, but that's not good enough (we played a patsy schedule, etc.).
We lose 3 in a row and it's the end of the world. Dak becomes a bum, Zeke is a fat, bloated back who should be playing for the league minimum, etc. I'll leave the never ending Garrett/Jones talking points alone.
Now we go out and embarrass the Eagles, a team that many fans ON THIS BOARD were predicting would win despite the Cowboys being the favorites. Dak has a great game aside from the int he threw into double coverage, Zeke balls out again, just like he's done since becoming a Cowboy, Amari shows why we traded a #1 for him, and our defense steps up and puts up a quality performance.
Still a game away from the season being half over, so there's a long way to go. Anyone watching the Packers or the Jets game could see that we beat ourselves and in no way were we over-matched. We still made a bunch of errors and had unnecessary penalties yesterday, but if we just clean up the penalty game, we'll be very hard to beat.
