Guess which of the three websites don't show the Cowboys win as one of the main topic lines?

nlf.com
cnnsi.com
espn.com

I'm sure 99% of you will get this right

Yeah, ESPN sucks for having an article about the unbeatens. What D-bags for not bowing down to Dallas in every way shape or form.

And fifteen minutes ago, the Dallas victory story was the lead story on their site.

probably the same station that says Saints beat a good team today.....

cause i couldve swore that Carolina sucked ***...i know because thats all ive heard since we played em

CBSSportsline has us on the front page, but with the title "Winning Ugly" and a supporting column that goes on about what a joke the NFC East is and how no one in this division could possibly win a superbowl.

I'd rather not be on the front page.

Yep. Yesterday on SC they had a lead in showing Dallas's record against Philly since 1998. Really guys? 1998?

So much hate they couldn't stand to put up 2-2 in the last two seasons. Whatever though. They can't take 6-2 away from us.

I'm not going to fall into the "BIAS!!" crowd. I think it's bunk. But I do think it's a lousy argument to call tonight's victory an ugly win.

Winning ugly is part of the fabric of the NFL, especially when you're on the road against a divisional foe. To add, we had a 300-yard passer tonight, committed only one turnover and scored 20 points ... and that's ugly? Lord, almighty.

What would they call New Orleans' victory over a bad Carolina team? Or Indy holding on thanks to a missed field goal (and a turnover before the half, little production in the second half, etc.). ... etc etc.

lol really.

Which nfc division is good? The bears and packers look pretty average. Atlanta and new orleans are good, but we just manhandled the falcons.

and the west is terrible.

Pretty funny. As soon as Dallas starts to play well and they get a game up in the division, now the division is bad!!!!

What about all the eagles are the best team in the league with the most talented roster and the giants with the greatest front 7 ever, on the cover of sporting news telling everyone how good they are in july.

Pretty funny. Now the division isnt good.

Did it really go back to 1998, or might it have been '99? There's relevance to '99 -- that was Reid's first year if I'm not mistaken. '98 would simply be a statistic of convenience -- might as well have it go back to 1983, 1971 or, hell, 1960, whatever the mark might be in such a case.

CBS must believe the NFC has no good division, simply two good teams in New Orleans and Minnesota.

What else are they going to say? "Romo Wins A Big Game"?

I'd prefer to be underestimated....keep on flying under the radar.

I would go with a headline that denotes one team jumped the other for first place in the division. ESPN's "Divison Lead" (I think that's their headline) is bland but effective.

And why the *****y tone tonight, Inman? Are my posts coming off as whiny, they're-out-to-get-us Cowboys fan? Certainly not trying to portray that. I simply thought this win was a quality one, not an ugly one nor a season-changing one.

Really.

The article is wrought with faulty reasoning, and the author's attempts at irreverent humor are forced.

Here's my problem with the story, and I fully expect Inman to run in asking me, "What did you expect him to write?"

He calls this an ugly win and goes onto say the Saints would smash us 40-10 -- the same Saints team that struggled to beat the Dolphins, Falcons and Panthers the last three weeks.

Now, don't get me wrong. I love what the Saints are doing. They win pretty some games, ugly others. They come from behind some games, never trail others. But that's the thing. Victories come in all forms, and these Cowboys are showing that. They crushed a bad Seahawks team and squeaked by a bad Chiefs team. They smashed a good Falcons team and edged a good Eagles team. And I think they're better than us.

But we suck and are going to play UTEP to UT against the Saints -- all because we beat a 5-3 Eagles team on the road?

I simply don't get what this writer expected/wanted to see tonight.

Is the NFC East as good as once thought? Absolutely not. But if we have no chance to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl, then neither do 14 or 15 other NFC teams.

that article is great.

I hope that is the tone that is used with us the rest of the way. That guy is dumb on his own level.

The bad Whitney Houston line set the tone for an ugly story, you might say.

Freeman meant to struck a chord. He missed. Classic.

Didn't these Eagles just play the New York Giants even better than the saints?

Didn't the Cowboys just slap around a Falcons team that the competed fairly well with the Saints?

Didn't the Saints just win an ugly game to the Panthers??

...Please. This is just what it looks like when two good teams actually collide. There were ugly calls and a poor flow to a game, but is he really that confident that the Saints are THAT much better?

What I have noticed is people either love the Cowboys or they hate us there isn't much in between.
