It isn't odd at all unfortunately. It has happened multiple times this year. Romo doesn't trust him like someone else said. Roy has made some mistakes, but he has to be thrown to in order to make some plays.

That's largely because Romo doesn't throw to him as his first choice receiver.

And with the amount of time Romo had tonight, he didn't get a chance to get to his second or third receivers.


As for the game, we moved the ball reasonably well in the first quarter, but instead of penalties killing us it was the big negative plays at bad times putting us in 3rd & long. Each drive seemed to stall when we got into the Vikings half.

Then once we started to turn the ball over, we were toast.


FWIW, the season has been better than many had predicted, even if this is a really bad way to end it.

None of the receivers had much of a chance to do anything today. The protection just wasnt there.

Been a disappointing season for Williams, but not sure today is anything that was his fault.

Roy Williams was the LEAST of the problems today. Romo got slaughtered at the hands of the O-line. Austin was essentially ineffective too. The only one who caught much of anything was Witten. I lay this one on the O-line. Forget the excuses on why...bottom line is they got schooled and looked completely clueless in pass protection. I would have never guessed we would be one dimensional WITH the run. Major let down today.

Colombo REALLY struggled a lot vs Edwards. On the otherside, Doug Free did a decent job filling in for Flozell IMO.
