I know awhile back that we had a Guitar Hero thread but didn't feel like digging for it. If any of you play, where are you currently at?

Guitar Hero Legends of Rock: Finally completed Metallica's "One" on Hard.
30 of 42 songs on Expert.

Guitar Hero Aerosmith: Completed.

Rockband 2: Still finishing up all the gigs and challenges.

Guitar Hero World Tour: Finished career and trying to expert all the Quickplay songs.

Anybody beat the Devil on guitar battle on the Hard level at the end?

Happy to play RB2 on medium really well and hard pretty poorly. My main thing is playing songs I enjoy listening to and having fun with my brother or girlfriend.

Most songs on Hard are too slow but yet some on Expert you cant thoroughly enjoy because you have to stay on top of it. Id rather enjoy the song but theres a competitive nature where I want to beat the game first and then go back and enjoy it. :D

And that's all that matters-having fun and enjoying it all.

sorry, I play on a real guitar, not 5 colorful buttons on a plastic toy

You're rotten; you said what I was thinking, but didn't want to say.

I play both. They're completely different and both enjoyable.

Personally I don't see how jamming on pantera or slayer on a real guitar compares to hitting buttons on a game, but then again I have never played guitar hero so I really don't know.

Congrats to you but this is a game, not a guitar and I highly doubt anyone thinks they are similar.

One is a game, the other an instrument. I'm sorry people like Wraith or vta can't differentiate the difference. When a lot of real guitarists tried playing this game, they failed pretty bad. So that goes to show that playing the real thing is nothing like an Xbox game.

Lighten up Francis.

when the 7 yr old grandson comes over, he puts on the PS2. He can do 98% of Slow Ride on Easy. I tried it Sunday when he came over and got 64% the first time and 82% second time. My career on Guitarhero is now over....

Just takes some practice.

Knights of cydonia by Muse is kicking my butt, that song is long and difficult.

It's a video game. You push buttons like any other video game. This one happens to play music. It's nothing like playing a guitar, but it's definitely fun. The drums are cool too.

I don't understand why people like that game Grand Theft Auto... I have a lot more fun actually boosting hot rods and bangin hoes. :D

My kids are begging me to get them Guitar Hero, but I'm a little uneasy with some of the content. Some of the graphics and songs are a little inappropriate for little kids.
