Not a bad idea.

I'm starting to see cracks in my driveway and blocks of the outter foundation of my house cracking off.

It's bad out here. My wife wants me to water it every 3-4 days, think I'm gonna wait for her to go to sleep and water it nightly.

Edit: Been soaking in and around my driveway now too. When I water the lawn I make sure the water is hitting the side of the house, etc..

Not sure if it'll do anything (good or bad) but when you see your driveway and house falling apart it kind of raises alarms.

I am about 150 Nm South of Galveston right now. Havent started seeing anything yet. I usually dont relish the idea of having to strap everything down and run from a storm but I will definitely make an exception if it will just bring some water. My trees are dying a terrible death.
