Gut feeling on Lance Dunbar this week (no it's not gas)

He still doesn't look healthy. After a special teams play I saw last week, he noticably limped off the field.

He'll be fine, I know he's working on eliminating that problem with guys like Garrett and Callahan on him.

The potential for the player is there...don't know if he will ever live up to it though.

I'm not so certain of Dunbar's speed. I saw a good amount of him live at UNT, and while he was often the best player on the field (albeit in Sunbelt games) I never got the impression that he was lightning fast.

He's quick. He's shifty. He has natural instinct. But the guy has 4.5 speed at best.

He plays with a lot of heart, though. And I've always said any team that picks him up out of college will have likely gotten him for a steal.

I think he'll do good things for us.

When Dunbar runs for 150+ yards let me know. Check that, when Dunbar runs for 30+ yards in a game let me know.

I was thinking the EXACT same thing when I saw this...all of us want to see this guy's speed benefit the team but he is like Matt Johnson and Danny Coale (I know he is gone entirely) to me in a sense...get on the field and stay there so we can get a look at if you are an NFL player
