All this crap about get rid of Wade yada yada yada. Please, the team was ready to play. We totally SHUT them down except for a few broken plays. Eli was held to approx 150yds, 44% completion rate save for the breakdown to Jacobs and the fluke play to Boss for 16yds where Carpenter should have had Eli on the turf. We totally dominated time of possesion and win this game going away without these fluke plays.

We closed them out on numerous 3rd down plays and made them punt. Add in Barbers fumble, Jacobs 75yd td and the punt rtn and we gave up 21 pts.

This game was just like the 1st, all of the once in a lifetime plays went against us. Only issue we had was our running attack which stunk.

Romo had a career night...what more could you ask except for the miss to Roy and the miss to Choice...other than that he was on.

Im thinking we need another #1 corner in the draft to go along with Jenkins, put Newman in the slot. We need another 1 or 2 o lineman and hopefully Williams our 3rd rd pik this year can get on the field.

Barber needs to go to being the closer, put Choice and Felix out there earlier and Choice needs to be utilized out of the backfield more.

Tough road ahead...hopefully we can get a split of the remaining games. Would love to face the Gints again in the 1st round of the playoffs in our house. In 07 I believe we swept them only to loose in the playoffs, would be great to rtn the favor.

Then the team wasn't ready to play, now then was it?

How often does this team have to do that before you accept that breakdowns are all about preparation and practicing with focus...and playing games with focus, for 60 minutes?

A few mistakes means the team wasn't ready to play? That's a bit unrealistic don't you think? If NY had been whipping them up and down the field the whole game then I'd agree that the preparation was questionable but big plays are made on every team in the league, even those coached by the "geniuses." We are not an elite team but we are a good team. We are in a position that getting into the playoffs is quite possible. I disagree that the team wasn't prepared. I think some players made some mistakes that cost us the game.
