How many number 2 WRs had a 95 catch season signed a fat contract to be the man then utterly bombed probably not very many either.

He can't be a #3 WR for us because he couldn't be a #1 WR elsewhere?

If that's the best counter argument you can come up with, then he needs to be signed .. in 5 minutes.

sure I did...

and also looked up that Bledsoe attemted 610 passes and had 375 completions that yr...considering all they had was Eric Moulds, somebody else was bound to have alot of catches right?

David

Yeah, and 95 catches, 1250 yards is a hell of a lot of catches.

So, who is your replacement as a #3 Wr in case one of our staters goes down?

Crowder, Copper or Morgan?

I need a good laugh.

I'm all for adding Price if medical concerns can be resolved, I like Crayton but he has never had to carry the load of starting. If A starter goes down we would be much better off if we add Price or Warrick. I am intrigued by Warrick, you never know if a change of pace could allow him to reach the enormous potential he displayed at FL. State. I prefer Warrick because of his possible upside and versatility, but I would be happy about signing either one.

1999 Buffalo Bills 31 catches 393 yards 3 TDs

2002 Buffalo Bills 94 1252 9
2003 Atlanta Falcons 64 838 3
2004 Atlanta Falcons 45 575 3

2000 Cincinnati Bengals 51 592 4
2001 Cincinnati Bengals 70 667 1
2002 Cincinnati Bengals 53 606 6
2003 Cincinnati Bengals 79 819 7
2004 Cincinnati Bengals 11 127 0

Price has one monster season in a contract year otherwise similar production

whats the big deal

So, in other words you don't like Price because he had a bad year last year, but instead sign a guy who had 11 catches for 127 yards llast year instead?

Price has 4 out of 5 years with 700+ yards, and Warrick has 1 out of 5 of 700+ yards ... and Price is the one year wonder?

Am I even supposed to take your argument seriously?

If the guy is better than our #3 now and is healthy and won't require too much $$$, then let's get him and roll with it.

I just wanna win, and I don't care who comes here, as long as they stay on the field and can help us win.

who's Payton Manning's replacement if he goes down? maybe they should try to acquire Brett Favre?

we probably use as much 2 TE sets as we do 3 WR sets...if we lose one of the top 3 now it isnt going to cripple the offense...especially since we have Witten at TE

Warrick has 4 out of 5 years with 50 catches
Price has 4 out of 6

The stats can be bent anyway.
1200 yards 9 TDs
10 million dollars
then pretty average just like Warrick.
The fact is he got paid then he went to crap.
I'd rather have Crayton at the 3 than either one of these guys anyway.

I think we are ok at WR as it is. It would be nice to improve our WR corp but there is nobody out there we can get that will improve the WR corp by very much.

Stick with what we got. It will be fun to see how Crayton comes along and Copper looks like he is starting to do more now.

If we are gonna improve the WR corp do it next year. I am more worried about our OL then WR.

Really, that's not what Parcells was saying when talking about how devestating losing Glenn was to the offenese.

That was a really long winded way of saying we don't have anyone who can step in if one of the top 3 goes down with injury.

He came here at age 28 and was called "old" from the start.

What Fountain of Youth did "He Hate Y'all" stumble into?

Just in the last half hour I must have read ten new posts predicting, insisting, or 'near guaranteeing' Terry will get hurt.

I swear I have never seen anything said of players even more 'injury prone'.

Makes ya wonder....

Before last year, had he ever had a serious injury?

Glenn is anything but injury prone

LTN - I am as staunch a supporter of Glenn as there is. His talent is beyond immense.

His track record regarding playing a 16 game season on a consistent basis is spotty at best....

I'm sure before we sign a player the team will check them out. If you remember Glenn missed tons of time with headaches in GB and NE but has been free and clear here. Knock on wood....

Free and clear and has yet to finish an entire season here in Dallas.

My point is does it need to be brought up every five seconds?
