At a time like this, when the team came together to pull one out against the Saints why can't us as fans come together too?

Yeah, a lot of us didn't think we'd do it, but we did and let's celebrate TOGETHER.

No irony there. I still feel the faces in my signature are the deciding factors in some of our shortcomings this year. Unfortunately in order to showcase all of them would require too big of a banner so I picked the main stars. Considering adding Folk.

If we can keep the ball rolling and the wins coming, I may change my feelings about those people.

No, thanks.

I'm never one to call another person or groups fanhood into question, but the reality is there are too many Cowboy fans who are faithless and get the yips when they should just be quietly supporting their team. There's no need to go calling them out necessarily, but neither do we need to pretend they don't exist after a big win.

We went through the same nonsense when the team was 2-2 and people were *giving up on the season at that point.* This week was worse. They know who they are. We'll see if this big win teaches them the error of their ways. Let's hope it does.

Well, there's never really any benefit to the people out there who call out players on our team or do as I do and create a sig when they've felt all hope has been lost. If we produce a miracle and do something with it I and others look like a *******.

But the hopefuls who remain quiet have no risk involved. If we step it up and win, they can preach it. If we don't, they can remain quiet and there's no issues.

I find it easier to deal with the pain by becoming one who questions certain aspects of the team and calling out the players and coaches on the team who I feel hold it back.

There are a lot of aspects to question about any NFL team, and nobody on the board has a problem with legitimate criticism. It's the flailing and the lashing out at players and coaches who are actually doing a good job, and the giving up on the season in week for, or week 12 that makes for bad fans.

And you're wrong if you think there's no criticism involved with supporting the team through a tough loss, or especially in a week following the games like the ones against NY where we really could have or should have one. You should try it some time, if you're honestly looking for a worthwhile risk to take.

I think you are confusing "supporting the team" with "thinking they will lose".

Of course fans want the team to win, we are all elated with beating the Saints. However, just because you thought the team was not going to win does not mean you dont support the team.

Not at all. I'm talking about supporting the team. There were many, many fans who support the team and thought they'd lose to an undefeated NO in the Superdome. I personally thought we'd have a hard time getting past San Diego, even at home.

I'm talking about the group of fans who hate the quarterback during losing streaks and criticize his leadership/conditioning/girlfriends/focus unfairly. I'm talking about fans who call the team 'gutless' and 'heartless' and say other fans are nuts for thinking we've got a shot at the postseason. I'm talking about the threads sincerely asking the question of whether or not we're better off losing out and missing the playoffs so we'll be sure that Wade gets fired.

That's not the same thing as 'thinking they will lose.' And it doesn't mean those posters don't love the Cowboys as much as supportive fans do. It just means they're ****ty fans.

Note again the predictable silence from some of our most "realistic" posters. Had we lost, we'd hear the cacophony though.

This fan forum is no different than EVERY and I repeat EVERY fan forum in existence in any sport. Crying about realists, fakists, believers, homers, and every other name you can come up with is just a plain waste of time. It is what it is and frankly, it's what makes coming to these boards worth it. Who wants to see a forum that is all RAH RAH Yea Team!? BOOOORING. There must be a cheerleader forum out there that would cater to those that can only handle that type of atmosphere.

I make no bones about it im very critical of certain aspects of the team, but last night was sweet for the team, organization, and fans. Other than Folk everything was POSITIVE last night.

This is the NFL and everything is a crap shoot. This is a perfect example of why past Decembers have zero to do with this December. Demarcus Ware you are the MAN! Unreal performance!

No doubt about it. Dallas loses and the critcs and nay sayers go wild, hollering how we should cut this player or that coach should be fired and of course how this team is guttless and has no heart. Only thing I have seen that is guttless with no heart are fans who quit on this team

What a game!

FINALLY this team puts all the pieces together, takes it to the opposition and most importantly, doesn't beat itself.

The offense stepped up when it needed to. The defense rose to the occasion when it absolutely needed to. Special teams got it done. Game planning was great.

This is the kind of effort that gives fans real belief, not just 'I should believe because they are my favorite team' belief.

I should have bet my house...

LOL

Sorry I'm late. Couldn't decide if I wanted maple syrup or raspberry jam on my crow this morning.

Is there any chance at all we can ALL let this "calling out" crap go?

It would really be a good thing to do.
