whats wrong with finding someone better than Kosier? it would be nice and very refreshing to see a Rookie start on the OL in place of Kosier who was let go by the Lions and the 9ers...


but for fans to not want competition for KK is just funny to me!

He wasn't the only culprit in those games against Philly, the whole o-line was bad so you can't place all the blame on Kosier.

I saw Rivera literally get thrown aside (and I'm not kidding) by Javon Kearse who actually lined up at Tackle on one play. He threw Rivera aside with one hand and mauled Romo, Romo had zero time to respond.

I also saw the ends and linebackers run around Flozell like he wasn't there. I watched the second eagles game the other night.

However, I believe that if we could find a big strong guard in the draft who could start in front of Kosier, then the middle of Dallas' offfense will be a stone wall. So when Flozell let's an end get deep and wide on him, Romo can step up into a clean pocket.

I didn't think Kyle played bad last year,, he had some bad moments but name me ONE lineman that don't. I think with is versitility, he is a great pick up and I am glad he is on the team. With him and Davis, we have 2 players that can fill in any OL position. That's huge,, lets us do more things on gameday. I fully expect the Boys to draft a OL still very high in the draft this year. I am just wondering what position, G or T.

I do remember Kosier had trouble reading the stunts in the first Philly game. His guy came free up the middle on a number of occasions. I know this the Eagle's "specialty" but it's something Kosier needs to improve this season.

The idea that a "mauler" improves this somehow is wrongheaded and might make things worse. The interior linemen must be both smart and quick to handle Philly's approach to the middle rush. They also must work together well. The fact that we are adding only one new part this season will help.
