So, dont give up, we have a 4th, 5th, 2-6th picks, and 2 7th picks
We can do 2 things tomorrow, trade either our 5th or one of 6th to move up in 4th round. Our like last year, trade our 5th rounder and a future 4th rounder to take a 4th round pick. Remember Chris Canty.

There are still 3-4 good free safeties, a couple of OT's-OG's, rich still deep at kick returner and punt returner. Remember that is one of our weaknesses, too. There are some WR's like Miles Austin out of Manmouth that the Cowboys liked for example. So dont give up, Bill Parcells strength is in later ronds too, and Jeff Ireland is doing a good job of scouting. So, hang in there. joe

True, but I am thinking, Parcells is going to get a backup veteran during preseason, we had about 12.4 million in salary cap. Take 3.4 mill off of that for draft choices, with pratice squad etc. that leaves 9 million, then take 5.6 off of that to have going into season.

Parcells likes to have that much for emergency. That leaves 4-5 million to spend between now and preseason. I am not saying this mind you, but wondering, do you remember about 12 days ago, the rumor trade with Baltimore for Ed Reed and ray lewis whom i dont like. Anyway, what if Dallas plans to trade a future draft pick for him.

Reports are that the Ravens arent going to resign him, and either he will be let go, or you have to trade him with teams knowing you got to cut him. Sure, we will have to sign our own players like B James, Jason Witten and newman i think. But reports are or were we had the money or will. So, what if mind you, Dallas has ideal of getting Ed Reed. Then defense is really fixed, and will be a nasty nasty defense.

More and more I am reading about the James Hatcher kid I like, been compared to Richard Semour. Sure, he needs a year seasoning, but so did Leon Lett if you remember. And look at what he did.

At DT you have Ferguson, Hatcher, and Johnson.
Draft a guy tomorrow (Watson, Wright, Oshinowo?)

At LB you have Ware-James-Ayodele-Carpenter
Behind them you have Thorton-Fowler-Boiman-Shanle
Then Burnett when healthy and Singleton (for now)

Newman-Henry-Glenn-Reeves-Jones (or pick)
Williams and Coleman
Davis and one other (Pile, Beriault, pick?)

I think, we'll find someone to play NT ... and that person may be currently playing DE ... Spears, Ratliff and Hatcher all pretty versatile, it seems.

Not to mention, there will be a rotation at DE as well ...

If the front 7 is stout enough, it doesn't even matter who is in the secondary. New England was able to plug in WR at CB and it was largely because of their front 7. Parcells uses almost an identical philosophy.

Do you realize how long it takes to gain 30 pounds? If you want to gain a healthy 30 pounds and not just fat that will LOSE quickness its going to take alot more than this off season thats for sure.

I didn't say this season did I? obviously this guy is not projected to be starting this season but he could work in the DE rotation while gaining weight and muscle

I think I just gained 15lbs today eating Mcdonalds and drinking beer, I'm pretty sure I can gain 15 more tomorrow if I stay true to my draft day regimine.
